I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at GameStop, which was unfortunately marked by a particularly unpleasant interaction with a staff member. The employee, a shorter lady, exhibited a demeaning and controlling demeanor, insisting on dictating to me the manner in which I should use my credit card. Her approach was not just unhelpful but exceedingly rude.To add to the frustration, whenever I inquired about a product, she would curtly reply that it was out of stock, and she had no knowledge of when it would be available again. It was evident that she severely lacks basic customer service skills, making this one of the worst retail interactions I have experienced. A visit that should have been straightforward and enjoyable was transformed into a vexing and unpleasant ordeal due to her unprofessional conduct. This type of service is unacceptable and certainly not conducive to repeat business.

I don't appreciate being extorted into a membership just to buy a PS5 from them. I bought it from Best Buy instead. Your loss game stop.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at GameStop on Sheridan St in Hollywood, Florida, all thanks to a team member named Suki. In my years of shopping at GameStop, I have never encountered such a disdainful and unenthusiastic employee. Suki's complete lack of interest in their job was evident from the very beginning, leaving me utterly dissatisfied.The ordeal began with a phone call, a staggering 2.5 hours after placing an online order for a game system pick-up. Suki's response was nothing short of rude, as they dismissively stated that it takes time to fulfill orders, typically around 45 minutes to an hour. I calmly explained that it had already been 2.5 hours, but it seemed to make no difference. To my surprise, within 30 minutes of the call, I received an email stating that my order was finally filled.When I arrived at the store, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and unwelcoming, primarily due to Suki's demeanor. As I approached the counter to pick up the game system I had ordered online, Suki didn't even bother to turn around or acknowledge my presence. Instead, she barked orders at me, demanding to see my driver's license, all while busying themselves with organizing products behind the counter. The lack of basic courtesy was truly disheartening.Against my better judgment, I attempted to engage Suki in a few questions about the products related to the system I was purchasing. However, any hope of receiving assistance or even a semblance of decent customer service quickly faded away. Suki displayed a severe attitude problem, making it abundantly clear that my inquiries were an inconvenience to her. Suki's unprofessional behavior was a stark contrast to what one would expect from a GameStop employee.Needless to say, the combination of Suki's dismissive attitude, lack of knowledge, and poor customer service made me rethink my decision to purchase additional games and the GameStop membership. It was clear that Suki had no interest in assisting customers or fostering a positive experience.I strongly believe that Suki could greatly benefit from training in customer service, handling customer inquiries, and gaining a better understanding of the store's products. Her overall lack of professionalism and knowledge severely impacted my visit, leaving me with no desire to return to this particular GameStop location.In conclusion, my encounter with Suki at the GameStop on Sheridan St, Hollywood, Florida was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a GameStop store. Her evident disdain for her job, along with ther disrespectful and unhelpful attitude, made my visit extremely unpleasant. I sincerely hope that GameStop takes the necessary steps to improve customer service at this location and ensures that employees like Suki receive the training they so desperately need. On a side note, leaving half a star should be an option.

The NEW manager is awsome. The current staff is very friendly and they keep the place stocked. The last manager was no good. HUGE improvement.

Today my family who are visiting Florida from Canada, went to buy the Mario bundle Nintendo switch and Rackel helped us out! She was very knowledgeable and told us about all different option in screen sizes and features. She was really patient and helped us make our decision. Really appreciated her effort. We need more people like her around.

What a coincidence this place has so many bad reviews I thought it was just me no it wasn't went there Sunday to replace my daughter's switch The rude little girl behind the counter was so rude does not know how to hold the conversation talks while you're talking interrupts you every single time you talk refuse to give me information on how to get in contact with the manager refuse to give me her store number refuse to give me her corporate number I have to ask over three times to get some of kind of reply Best part about this is the manager and the employee both suggest that I go to another store and spend my money better I bet the owner of this store doesn't know how much money his employees are sending away with bad attitudes and not wanting to help especially that little girl that works there right now beware Don't go there don't spend your money their advice just go to another GameStop I will take that advice

Had to stop to get a game. Imagine my luck there was a store called Game stop that had a game I wanted when I stopped. We were quickly back on the road with our game and it passed the time for the little ones who were bored on a long drive to the happiest place on earth.

So i see a note that says "I'll be back in 30 minutes" where its almost closing time. That employee needs to be fired immediately. This is just why I hate shopping at Game Stop. No matter how many chances I give this company, they always have a way to screw people over.

Bought a copy of Farcry 6 steel book edition. $95... I don't even know what the steel book edition means. Was the last copy in the store and they gave it to me unsealed. Found out it's a $15 game after research and wanted to return it. Brought it back and the associate said it's a one time thing she'll do the return. The manager then comes out to see they can't take the return because it's unsealed. That's not my problem they didn't seal it. Manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me it was her first day . This place is a joke. Go to a different store if you want good service.

HORRIBLE EMPLOYEE. Sat outside for 30 mins while employee was in the back. She came to open the door yelling at me and my friend accusing us of slamming the door around and said she was watching us on camera. Very hostile. Also if you saw us on camera waiting outside come open the door. If I’m coming to spend money at your business don’t welcome me by yelling in my face.
