Update-The store is working with me to get this straightened out. I just received an email that someone at this location ate on my dime. They used my credits to purchase dinner and their credit card for the last $2. I’ll be contacting the store directly tomorrow.

My family and I have always order honey baked ham for Thanksgiving , Christmas and sometimes for New Year’s Eve for over 20 years. It has taken me a lot of time to get over on how disappointed I was on Thanksgiving and Christmas. What the hell happened the ham was like Smoked ham nothing about it was honey ham!!! And I purchase it on both holiday this year. They definitely lost a customer and a longtime customer. I waited this long to write a review about it be cause if I would have done it earlier it was not going to be good.

I love buying my ham and fixings from here but have been disappointed twice. First, for Thanksgiving, I pre-paid and order a week before picking up. After waiting 45 min in the line, it's my turn to tell me they don't have my sweet potato tray. 😒 Today, I went again to buy my fixing and told again no sweet potatoes. I'm so disappointed.

Management very disingenuous and dishonest. Must say the server/cashier was patient and courteous. His manager just ruined the shopping experience. After buying a ham for $88 and tendered a $100 note the manager claims: we don’t have change for that. What??? $12! Stop lying dude and be honest. You know why. Never again.

Liza the manager was very helpful when I placed an order for the holidays. I asked for best sides, how much turkey etc. additionally, she gave me all this information with a smile and a pleasant attitude. I was very happy with my interaction.

I WAITED IN A LINE FOR 2 HOURS FOR MY PRE-PAID ORDER! I DO NOT understand why the wait was so long when I had a scheduled pick up time!! The ham is NOT worth that kind of wait! When I finally was able to get inside the building after standing outside FOREVER, they told me my ham had to get glazed! Excuse me?! I had a scheduled pick up time and you’re telling me after waiting 2 hours past my pick up time that it STILL isn’t ready?! Wow. Completely unacceptable. And then, after they told me it had to be glazed, they said it would only be 10 more minutes. LIES! I waited an additional 30 minutes!! I won’t be back to this location ever again. Terrible wait times and VERY unorganized! It was madness. You all know that it’s the Thanksgiving holiday and it’s going to be busy. Staff appropriately and find a better way to make the pick up process for those who pre-paid smoother!!

If you’re considering ordering from them for your holidays, DONT. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Honey Baked Ham Co. was beyond frustrating. I waited in line outside for over an hour to pick up a prepaid order I placed a MONTH in advance, only to find out when I finally got to the counter that they were out of the ham and cake I specifically ordered.
The whole point of prepaying is to reserve your items, but apparently, that’s too much to ask. Instead, they offered me a larger ham and a dessert substitution—but then charged me an extra $20 because the ham was bigger. When I questioned why I had to pay more for their mistake, the cashier’s rude response was, “Do you want it or not?” They take advantage that it’s Thanksgiving and people will have to take whatever they have to offer.
They have a mix of walk-ins and prepaid customers in line and instead of separating the items/orders people have paid for ahead of time, it’s a free for all. They allow for walkins when they can’t even honor their prepaid orders. So even if you, place an order, scheduled your pickup and paid ahead for specific items there is no guarantee you’ll get them or anything you ordered when you arrive for pickup.
This was hands-down the worst experience I’ve ever had with any restaurant or retailer. I prepaid for a specific order and ended up paying more money for two items I didn’t even order. I will NEVER be back.

Ordered my family’s Thanksgiving meal from this company. The food is typically excellent in flavor however this is the first time I encountered madness at pickup. Regardless if an order was prepaid in advance, this establishment had a line that wrapped around the shopping complex and went into the parking lot. In the line there was a mix of both pre paid orders and those arriving to shop . It would be most efficient to divide your lines for more efficient service. Planning in anticipation for a holiday or a friendly disclaimer on the email regarding the wait is highly suggested and appreciated by paying and loyal customers.

Customer service is horrible!!!!! I called to cancel nov 13th at 1:30 pm (I wrote it down just in case) my order 2 weeks ago. It never got done. I got a email for pick up today. I called the store the girl didn’t give me her name. She said maybe this time we can do it right and hangs up. This is horrible service

I prepaid for my ham online and arrived to pick it up. The line for prepay is about 100 people and rhe line for people paying now is shorter. I spoke to the employee at the door, who advised that they have 1 person working the prepay line and 3 people working the regular line!!! Does that sound right to anyone!!!!

AVOID this location during the holidays. They are disorganized. They blame technology failures and nearly had a mob scene on their hands. This is the worst experience I have ever had in many years of buying Honey Baked hams for holidays. Unfortunately the Weston location closed. I will be going to the Sunrise location in the future.
