I’m a dentist: so I know bad healthcare when I see it. All I will say is that if you have a pet who is ill, don’t go to this place. They will focus on the $$$ while your pet is dying.Like comments below, I can confirm that some of the staff members are very disrespectful and lack empathy.Case in point: I heard them making jokes about my dead dog as they brought him to me. Along with other clinical and admin mistakes they kept making the night I was there, I read the notes from my dog’s final visit and they were heavily inaccurate. Apparently when I came in to address my pet’s ongoing seizures, according to the notes I actually wanted the dog put down…Again, don’t go here if you don’t need to. There’s a reason it’s less than 4 stars.

Horrible attention, they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET. They see you as a dollar sign only. outrageous pricing. About 6 months ago I paid over $7,000 for my dog’s urinary infection. IT WAS RIDICULOUS. Unfortunately, last night had to go again due to bleeding through his rectum and paid $1,000 for NOTHING, blood samples and antibiotics, and they wanted to keep him overnight for further examination with a bill over $3,500.Not recommended at all.I decided to bring him today to VetField and left very satisfied. Stitches, blood work and antibiotics under $500. And they were very caring and loving towards us both.

They have helped my dog out twice so far!Last year, the doctor suggested a medication to help manage my dog's excessive thirst/urination due to him having liver cancer. Then last week, my dog almost died after accidentally being fed some red velvet cake/frosting. They resuscitated him!Very professional and caring staff. Btw, lovely aquarium in the lobby.Words cannot express how thankful I am to LeadER for saving my old man ?!

I’m still in shock at the horrendous experience we had at this place. Needless to say, our beloved Poppy should not have died. If they read this, yes you know who we are. They know what they did and didn’t do. At no time did a doctor come into the waiting room to speak with me other than her initial evaluation before being admitted. Which, let’s face it, was more about the bill. I repeatedly asked to speak with her internist- never happened. I understand that the doctors are busy but I needed to know the plan as I was supposed to go out of town and needed an update before I made my decision. No doctor called me until the next morning and I had already left. So had to drive 4 hours back home after that conversation. At one point I was told I had taken up too much of their time with my questions and that there were critical patients they had to deal with. Front desk night manager- your attitude and tone was appalling, you shouldn’t be dealing with the public, let alone stressed out, upset pet parents- stay in the back away from emotional situations you can’t handle with empathy. They are heartless monsters who didn’t listen, or should I say act, on any of my requests, questions and pleas. Thus, she was not given the care, meds and food she needed. They said she wasn’t eating so I took in chopped boiled chicken but the food in her cage wasn’t even hers, it was a wet sloppy mess of dry food that had expanded like when left in liquid too long. I fed her her normal food and the chicken and she ate it. I should point out too that at one point I had to ask for them to fill her bowl of water as the minuscule amount in there was negligent.Absolutely no continuity between the front and back. Definite disconnect when relaying information to go in her notes. Notes didn’t match the conversations I had with the doctors. Two hours before her passing, the vet on call called me, no urgency in her voice, just to go over the plan for the next day. You didn’t realize she was dying until 4 minutes before she passed away?!!! Your call for me to come be with my girl at the end was too late. I hate you. Who sends home with an hysterical mother who’s just lost her whole world, a bag full of tubes etc that they obviously used at the end. That memory will be with me forever. Please stop sending your oh so fake condolence cards, it’s sickening.Let’s not forget that she was hospitalized a few weeks before with the same symptoms. Sent home after 2 nights with no diagnosis and no meds.Every few days I will update this review so that it always stays at the top as a warning to anyone considering using this place.

We brought our 5 month old Westie puppy for nonstop diarrhea close to 6am after he was already on treatment from our wonderful regular vet. We were told they would need a parvo test before allowing us in..which I understood. We were told to sit in our car and someone would come out to administer the test. I returned the paperwork and waited for a bit. I went back in after 30 minutes to make sure I understood someone would be coming out and was told yes, but they were currently rounding and would be out afterwards. I fell asleep in the car from shear exhaustion from 2 nights of little sleep and when I woke it was almost 8 AM. My S.O. Had been reading reviews and expressed some concerns. We decided at that point to leave and seek help from our vet since they were soon to open. Just as we were preparing to leave someone came out to give the test. We opted to leave anyway. This was shocking to me since we had previously had great experiences with Leader when our other Westie had complications from Cancer chemotherapy 2 years prior. I found it very strange we were the only car in the parking lot. Prior times the place was busy in the middle of the night. Thank God, he had settled down once we arrived because if he had been critical, this delay could have made the difference. If you’re having staffing issues, you need to be HONEST about it and let people know the realistic wait times so they could choose to go elsewhere. This experience left such a bad taste that any future emergencies we encounter with our pets, we will seek help elsewhere. Really disappointed and have let my regular vet know. I hope this helps someone else since there seems to be several reviews talking about the same problem.

The staff at LeadER was amazing. Very kind and professional. Due to the nature of my cat's symptoms, she was seen immediately and the doctor and technician were thorough in their explanations and answered all of my questions patiently. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to my cat and a few days later I received a sympathy card from them with several hand written notes included. It was such a simple yet incredibly thoughtful thing to do.

Thank you to LeadER for taking care of my senior girl. Having to take your pet to the ER is a scary and stressful situation as is, but LeadER did a wonderful job in making the best of a bad situation. The staff was super friendly, the doctors and techs are super knowledgeable, and the visiting hours and picture updates policy provided me with such peace of mind. 10/10 job, I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a ER for their pet. Thank you LeadER!

I started taking my cat, Doro, here after getting a referral from my GP to seek care from internal medicine specialist, Dr. Ghantous. Doro had episodes of nausea indicated by vocalizing and grinding his teeth, which later worsened to episodes of non-stop regurgitation, and reached a critical point where I had to evaluate his quality of life. I have been to this hospital multiple times for diagnostics, follow up visits, and even emergency visits, and the staff has always been empathetic, welcoming, and helpful, no matter the time. Yes, treatment here is more expensive compared to a smaller local veterinarian, but an additional expense is to be expected with specialized and emergency veterinary care. I highly recommend fellow pet owners to look into pet insurances to help mitigate these expenses.I’m happy to report that Dr. Ghantous and his team have saved my cat’s life, and turned it around for the better. After his endoscopy, his problems stopped entirely. He’s nearly doubled in size and lives a normal, healthy life. Today, we finally got the confirmation that we don’t need to follow up anymore as he’s doing great.I cannot stress enough how much of a positive impact the staff here has made on my and my cat’s lives. Thank you a million times over!

Don't go to this place, they wanted to charge me around $5,000 for leaving my cat hospitalized for 2 days and they didn't want to do the tests to see what she had because the doctor felt uncomfortable at that moment. Apart from all this, they treat you horrible if you don't talk. In English, it seems disrespectful to me that they don't love animals and what they want is money and taking advantage of people. It should be illegal for people like that to work caring for animals.

Great facility and excellent service. Kept me updated every step of the way. They called me with updates and text me pictures of my dog. Would recommend to anyone that needs an emergency vet.
