Amy Brown On or about 7.24.24, I also went to this store as well and dealt with roberta[manager]. I was quite articulate when I spoke to her. I was looking for a new phone, I wanted to keep the same plan, and I was entitled to an upgrade per customer service for being a loyal customer since 2007. I was in this store for 3 hours to get a phone. Roberta would service other customers before finishing with me.at one point, she disappeared into the back room for about 30 minutes and came out eating. Then she would ask me if I made up my mind yet. I told her what I wanted when I came into the door. At this time, I was just recovering from a job related slip and fall accident and was using a walker.
Once I got the phone, she told me I had to buy a screen protector, insurance, and a charger, and this was included in the price of the phone. The cost of the phone came to 363.76. When the customer called me after I left the store, I was asked how my visit was to this store. I told them it did not go well because I was overcharged. Customer service informed me that the phone cost 199.00 and was to return to the store to get the 199.00 honored for my phone and I was given a reference number to return.
When I returned to the store, I saw roberta, and she asked why I was there, I explained to her that customer service called.me and told me that the phone was 199.00 and to check the system for further instructions. She told me that she could charge any price that she wanted and that customer service was in another country . They did not know what they were talking about, and they lied to me as a customer.
Also, she said she is an "authorize dealer and she can do anything she wanted" and i was not allowed to purchased a $350.00 phone without insurance.
She walked away from us, went into the back room, came out, and started badly mouthing me to other customers in the store ( 2 black men, 1 black woman and 1 white Latin woman along with 1 black guy that works there) my girlfriend told roberta to stop bad mouthing us to other customers in the store. Roberta said that she was calling the police.and I said, "What for"? And go right ahead.
The hollywood police did show up. The officer got her statement, and then he was getting mine, but she kept on interrupting our conversation, and each time, the officer instructed her to be quiet, and she refused. I asked.for.a refund, and she told the officer I could not get a refund, but the receipt said returns within 14 days. The officer pulled my girlfriend and I outside of the store to get our statements, and they provided us with a police case number.
This store manager, roberta, tried to have me arrested all because I challenged her on the price gouging of my phone.

I went to the Metro PCS store to purchase 2 phones. I asked what the price would be and Roberta ( the manager) told me it would be about $150 each and I would get a case and screen protector included. I have been cheated before so I knew that the $150 would also include charges for the case and screen. So I asked what would be the price without the case and screen and Roberta said about $120. I said okay thats fine. I saw her grab two cases so I reminded her that I just wanted the phones and she said okay. She then proceeded to grab two screen protectors and said these are included and I said okay. When I got home I noticed a $26.74 charge on both of my receipts. I attempted to call the number on my receipt and that number doesnt work. I then called metro pcs customer service who asked me to return to the store and they would speak to them to process a return since I was charged for a screen protector I did not agree to pay for. I found another number for the store on the internet and contacted them as I was headed there. I spoke to Roberta and she said that they are a dealer and can do what they want and if they chose to add on accessories they can. Had I been told this I would have made the decision to go else where but I was scammed. When I made it back to the store Roberta also told customer service that they can do what they want. So basically they can lie about the price and include things without approval even when I said I didnt want the case or screen protector. According to customer service the dealer is responsible for the refund since they charged it without my approval. They scammed me and it isnt right. I have also reported it to the better business bureau.

I went there for a minor technical glitch I had with my phone,but techs there had no idea how to solve the snag and gave me the run around.. maybe I should I have tried a different location (I just might)and see if have better luck there..oh well..

Roberta helped me transfer My Number back from T-Mobile to Metro and she put me on a special plan, $30 unlimited. I am so happy with her service and her spirit. I will definitely be back.

I switched my number from Cricket and the lady offered me the $30 plan and $25 If I set the autopay. The manager was very sweet and helpful and had patience with me to get my account information. I will definitely Recommend Roberta to all my family and friends.

Rapheal was not very nice. Do not use cash for purchases. My change back was 4.60 out of 20 and it bothered him that I asked for my change. He proceeded to ask me if really wanted my change back, then slamming the money on the counter instead of placing it in my hand.I was very nice and calm. What I really wanted to say was I just paid 30.00 for a screen protector your damn right I want my change back. But some things are better left unsaid. This store
needs better customer service.

The lady cashier is nasty and gross .You trying to do a payment but she put her finger inside her nose and take off boggars .ewe !She is distracted with her phone and cannot answer your questions .That's not professional .I will never come back to this store .

Completely useless store, with even more useless people... With no knowledge about their own products they are selling, nor their service quality.Completely useless people, with no help, knowledge, or assistance.Just close it down... It's worthless. Don't go.Just spoke to the most simpleton toddler child in there, that had no answers for anything .. Absolutely no CLUE what he's doing!Why is he there??? He has no function, then. Other than to stand there, uselessly. Just put a mannequin in his place. Pathetic!
