They don't have an in person management experience anymore. They sit you in front of a computer screen that does a phone call with a banker somewhere and they don't know what they are doing l, so I ended up spending over 2 hours with customer service on the phone as a result. They also forget about you in the back room when on the phone.

Stay very far away from sccu. They applied a charge to my HELOC saying I don't have flood insurance even after I sent my current policy. The representatives are horrible and not helpful

I think the bank is not the issue is phone customer service I’ve try to pay my car and no one answer .It’s ridiculous that I have an account , activate my card and they said no is not your number so if I don’t use the card for a while deactivate wow it’s crazy

I open up a bank account with them with a check I had for $8,000 I withdrew $7,400 here it is this time around I go to cash out another check this time for $6,000 and I'm told that I wouldn't be able to get all of the money most of it will have to sit for 5 days !!! What a joke

Lantoinette is the most inconsiderate, rude, nasty customer service manager that I have come across. All of the associates I have dealt with lately have been super nasty and rude. I will closing my Space Coast credit and debit cards in search for a more customer-friendly bank. Do better space coast.

Banked with sccu for 10+ years, and never have I ran into so many complications, problems, and lack of discernment as I have recieved upon attending said location.

Everything is an inconvenience at this location! They needed my ID, instead of accepting my debit card like other locations. If I use my PIN with my debit card, that's a verification of my identity (as said by my usual location). My family tried cashing their check here, they said they couldn't do it unless they opened an account. I went to my usual location, they cashed their check just fine by making a simple profile with their ID. Even the teller in my usual location said that wasn't right, they should've cashed it. What is going on here? Are y'all that lazy? There are like 2 people in this location that are helpful.Update: After coming here for months almost on a weekly basis, they finally allowed me to use my debit card recently because they "recognized" me. Amen! I will say this, there are almost never long lines, because they can be quick at times. I'll up the stars for that.

I don't like SCCU at all. They're the worlds most inconvenient banking system, from the $5 you have to hold in your savings account to the lack of regular banking services that other banks happily provide. I've had an SCCU account for 6 years and I still can't instantly receive my funds when i deposit a check remotely, whereas with BofA or ANY other big bank I'd get my full deposit the moment they receive the two pictures of my check. I will be closing my account, getting my stupid $5 back and bank with BofA forever. Don't even get me started on the lack of branches. I live in Weston and the nearest branch is all the way on Davie Rd and 595, 20 minutes away. For my needs, I can't be a part of a start up bank that is 10 years behind the competition.
