We came with 2 months old baby to apply for the passport. On the official website they said walk ins are welcome on Friday from 1-2pm. We came with all papers at that time. It was no line and no people. But the worker said that she can’t take us because it’s only 4 people for walk ins. On the website there’s no information about it! She saw that we came with the baby and he was crying but she just left to her staff room and slammed the door in front of us and baby’s face. Very angry staff, they can’t work with people!

It's terrible. I've been waiting for the delivery of a package for more than 4 weeks and now it turns out that it's lost and they can't find it. The answer is that they don't know where it is. I paid certified mail to guarantee delivery and still it was lost and no one told me. He responds, they are my immigration papers and I need them to be delivered to me urgently and no one responds.

If we had options to give negative stars I would use them. I have moved multiple times and had change my address and my mail had never been lost. I went to check why my mail has not been delivered and they don’t know where it is, they said that they put the mail in the garbage. This is unacceptable worst postal service ever.

I always get in & out pretty fast. The parking sometimes takes longer than the actual services. The counter service people are very helpful!!

The staff here are always friendly and helpful. Yes-it's a super busy location so you may have to wait. Once it's your turn, they will give you the personalized attention they give each of their customers. Yoshi, Marcela, and Cindy have helped me out many many times at the counter and they kind, friendly, and patient every time.

Ineffective staff, the one clerk I dealt with the last two times I came to the location, does not seem to have any care or concern for the customer. The only reason I have to go to this location is because I have had packages with my address but the recipient does not live there. I took the packages to the post office with a note on it stating returned to sender and person is not at the address. Well, I received one the packages back at my address and the other one is on it's way back to my house. This is unacceptable!

I wish I had 4 hands so I could give this location 4 thumbs down. My apartment complex had its mailboxes vandalized and for 5 months we've been forced to pick our mail up at this location because the postmaster doesn't do their job. Be that as it may, in the past I would get on a separate line for pick ups and someone would attend in a decent timeframe. Today l, I show I and get on the same line and wait patiently for 20 mins as the general line amassed 32 customers, thanks to the singular employee manning the front who is -without a doubt 67% sloth. Slowest human being to ever exist on earth. Glared at me for a moment and from that point forward, in her mind I had vanished. Another worker walked past and I asked if someone was at the pickup line. He said that there was only one line today due to them being short staffed. Sue Sloth could have saved me a lot of time by giving me a heads up. But, she did not. I am now the 33rd person in line, and I am sure the 33rd person to feel their blood pressure rising. 45 mins go by. I am now wondering if my girlfriend has moved on with her life as I have clearly been here for what has felt like a lifetime.I am now the 3rd person in line and the line has grown to 30 behind me again. Sue Sloth thinks it's a good time to take a break. Her germaphobe coworker feels the need to Clorox her desk in between each customer. 15 more minutes go by before I am tended to. I hate this place with the burning intensity of a thousand desert suns.

Just went to the Polk Street Office at 4:36pm on Thursday 12/7/2023. Gates down and closed. WHY? Although Lobby open for mail slot this was no help to me as I needed to see an agent for special handling of a package.

I was sitting in the passport section of the post office; I arrived at 4 something P.m.….I sat there for over 20 minutes with no help. There was no sign indicating what time they had closed. There had been a worker sitting there but got up, I thought she was going to the restroom. Finally I decided to ask someone at the front desk which was rude…. Told me they closed at 4. Why wasn’t there a sign….i don’t know.

If you can avoid going to the post office, I sincerely suggest it. I unfortunately have no choice as I am trying to get a mail situation figured out, so they are my post office that I have to go to. But their workers could not be any more incompetent and rude. The best of all they are NO HELP. Save time go anywhere else.
