This place has no customer service. The workers walked right past me several times with their heads down and never spoke a word. I was never approached or greeted.

Fair prices and doesn't offer military discount like Pet Smart 😢 also I'm just not feeling the valued customer vibe. One time a guy had me bag my own stuff.

Poor customer service. My dad wanted to return a harness that didn't fit his cat. They were able to pull the original transaction, but it was 2 days past the 60-day return policy. However, 4 days earlier, my dad went in to do the return, and a different girl was unable to find the transaction. So technically, if she was trained correctly, she would have found the tranaction. No store credit was even offered. My parents have 4 dogs and 2 cats and will no longer be giving this store any business. Poor training, poor service, and very poor attitudes from those we interacted with.

I've never had a problem before this time. I bought 4 neon tetras. They all died one after the other and contaminated the tank and killed all other tetras we had. Unfortunately, a bad batch of fish that ended up killing some long time fish we've had.

The lines to check out are ALWAYS long at the Homestead location. When there are more than 1 cashier, like yesterday, their greeting to the next person in line is a loud NEXT, never next customer or hello, nothing. It's NEXT and DEBIT or CREDIT. No enthusiasm or customer service what so ever. Oh and try to find someone/anyone in the store for assistance and it's like they see you and run to the back to bot be bothered. If it weren't for the need for prescription food for my pet, I wouldn't step foot in this location.

Horrible Service in this Petco. Took my 6 year old Pomeranian this morning for grooming with Maribel. My appointment was at 8AM, she opened the door did not say good morning and asked what services I wanted. I told her I just wanted a bath and routine care, with flea treatment. She asked if my dog had fleas and I said no, it was more of a preventive measure from my end, I had just taken my dog to the vet the day before and everything was fine. She took my dog, walked me out and told me she was going to call me in 2 hours. As I waited in the parking lot, I could see she was vacuuming the entrance of the store and putting boxes aways and not bathing or taking care of my dog. After 1 hour and 15 minutes she calls me and tells me she is not going to work on my dog because she found red spots on her body. She left my dog in the kennel for 1 hour and 15 minutes, had me wait 1 hour and 15 minutes to tell me she is not going to work on my dog. My issue is why do you wait 1 hour and 15 minutes to tell me this and leave my dog in the kennel alone for that long. I took my dog to the vet after this and once again my vet confirmed there is nothing wrong with my dog and does not have fleas.

My dogs food was filled with maggots. Im so disgusted that my poor puppy has been eating this for the past five days and we discover these bunch of maggots. I’m so appalled. Disgusting.

Petco's an awesome store. However sometimes the staff is friendly and helpful and sometimes they're not.
