We arrived at the storage location around 9:50 AM, even though the facility is supposed to open at 9:00 AM, and the office was completely closed. No staff member was on site, and the employee didn’t arrive until about 10:00. There was one customer ahead of us, which we understood, but it took around 30 minutes for them to be helped. When it was finally our turn, I said “Good morning,” and instead of assisting us, the employee asked if she could help someone else with a payment even though we had already been waiting for half an hour. The lack of professionalism and respect for customers’ time was extremely disappointing, and we chose to leave.

Glennys was phenomenal!! We had made an online reservation the night before and wanted to see the unit before signing. She took the time to show us different sized units and teach us how to use the gates and elevator. She was so thoughtful in answering each of our questions. Mina also assisted with the final signup process at the front desk and was very helpful.
I see a lot of the bad reviews have to do with rent increase, but that information is literally in the rental agreement before you sign, so that tells me they didn’t read it nor did they ask follow-up questions. We asked Glennys when we went in person to see the unit before signing and she explained it was usually a price increase every 6 months you have the unit. And the company sends you 30-60 days notice before the price increases. She also said that we should give notice that we’re vacating the storage unit as far in advance as possible and before the month is over, so that we don’t get charged the next month’s rent on the 1st. I feel like it’s similar to renting an apartment.
I also see bad reviews about people arriving and nobody is there, but did they call ahead of time to make sure someone would be there? We called and confirmed what time would be good to arrive to view the unit before signing the final agreement and she let us know when they would be out for lunch and when she would be showing other units. They lock the door when they’re away from the desk because of security reasons. Completely comprehendible.
Will update when the whole process is over and finished, but as of right now everything was so easy and Glennys and Mina were great.
