I am so upset right now!!! I scheduled a hitch installation 2 weeks ago, I get a call Friday 1 week before im scheduled to pick it up and told that they cant do the wiring but they would confirm with another location, and get back with me on Monday... Monday afternoon rolls around never recieved a call I call them and was told that general manager was busy and he would call me back, it is after 7 oclock business is now closed, i call customer service only to be told that my part maybe out of stock and I have to wait for a call to find out. I am literally in tears!!!! Idk what to do.

Horrible from the get-going !
I was looking forward to rent a tow dolly Alex didn’t understand my pronunciation makes me repeat the sentence several times I think he took on a mission to teach me a lesson.
I explaining two wheels you put behind the car and put the car on those two wheels ,he asked me to walk all over outside when he can show me a picture to show me What I just told him in retaliation my options ? At one point Alex pronounce (tow) to correct me . Horrible experience I’m 55 years old I don’t need to go through this i just need a fear assistance
without even looking, he says my Hitch is not recommended. My hitch is Perfectly rated for the weight I’m Towing. Besides I rent several times not once same trailer and bigger in this location
Then he explains to me then he need to take a picture of me.I rent trailers with U-HAUL the past three or four months 2/3 times a month South Carolina ! THEY NEVER ASKED ME FOR PICTURES. I TOLD HIM.
Then he proceeded to explain to me that because people keep stealing crashing their trailers and not returning they doing this like I was one of them !WOOO I returned all the rentals and is in the records.My opinion of you Mr. Alex very unprofessional and you assist me in a very unprofessional non of your duties Way like im a potential delinquent that is going to still one of U-Haul trailers. And make me go to a very unwelcome experience due to my limitations race or a combination
And U-Haul as well is taking every rental customer as a potential delinquent in certain locations totally selective I got my own Tow Dolly now I would do anything not to rent Ever from U-Haul again I may have to, but will be the last source.definitely not at this location

i NEVER write reviews but today will be different. for starters, i want to say that the people working at the counter were very nice and informative. the truck was clean and did its job well enough. HOWEVER, the deceptive practices of uhaul as a company are absolutely absurd. they advertise their trucks as $20 rentals. I SPENT $100 on everything. it's $20 for what? for the HONOR of renting the truck, i guess? plus $25 for insurance (i have been having the worst luck in my life this last year and i did not want to push that luck any further), AND THEN it's .99 cent PER MILE. i had to drive 29~ miles total. WE ARE NOW AT THREE TIMES THE ADVERTISED PRICE. then there's also the gas! need to return the truck with a full tank. if it's $100 to rent the truck, then say it's $100. don't say it's $20 and then charge me FIVE TIMES the actual price. i wasn't going to write a review. i just shrugged it off. like i said, i've had one hell of a year. it's just one bad thing ins a string of bad things to happen to me. HOWEVER, today i got an email from uhaul asking me to fill out a survey and i said, you know what. sure. so i go into the survey. they asked me to rate the whole process, i give it a 3 as an honest rating. and then they ask me "TELL US WHAT YOU LIKED ABOUT THE SERVICE". i figured they meant i could write what i liked and then it would follow up with any problems i might have had. so i wrote what i started this review with. i CAN NOT fault the employees for the failures of the COMPANY. they don't get paid enough to deal with that BS. when i hit next, the survey completed and it autofilled a google review for me containing only the good things about the process, which it had asked for. what a sniveling, seedy and pathetic way for a billion dollar company to act. so i came here to write my own review. not one with my words being taken out of context and used to promote their SCAM. i will never use uhaul again. i know that carries no weight. but i hope my review encourages people to look ANYWHERE else first and use this company only as a last resort.

Well first of all, maybe you need a whole new staff at this location. They are not welcoming at all. One person can't handle stressful situations and shows people his pokemon stuff. The other person runs away and smokes cigarettes in front of the building and continuously is on his personal phone. And the manager hides in the back of the store.

Dirty truck. Two people working here, one on the phone doing a personal call during the rental. The other a guy who got snarky with me about cleaning out the truck "it's a truck, what do you want me to do, detail it for you" when I asked him to simply clean the leaves, dirt, and debris out of the BED which had never been blown out. The guy spends all his time on the phone and blocked the door as I was trying to enter. The door is glass. He obviously SAW me but would not open the door or move until he had finished whatever he was doing on his phone. The girl seems stoned or really dumb. Refused to go out and see the damage inside the truck which was not stickered or noted on contract. I will never rent from this location again. Worst UHaul location ever. A d I used to work here in the early 90's, so I know UHaul policies and customer service standards.
Looking at the other reviews, this same staff has been an ongoing problem (phone guy) for at least 6 months and the location plans to do nothing about it. Don't rent here.

Rented a 20’ and when I went back to drop off they had all the paperwork wrong. They had that I had a different truck and another person had the 20’ I rented. I had to wait over 45 mins for them to fix their mistake. Very unprofessional!

absolutely terrible place to rent from. Not a single person spoke english. Not one person could figure out the difference of a applicance dolly compared to utility dolly.

Hello, I tell you that I had a very bad experience with these people. I rented a pick-up. I paid them 50 miles, but when I delivered the truck, I drove 27 miles. I told them, "No problem, they should charge it to my card and when they gave me the payment, they charged me for about 100 miles, of course I didn't let me and in that moment they ran me away, they yelled at me and told me to leave because they don't know anything and they acted deaf. I recommend that you go somewhere else because these people are stealing from you.

Excellent job. Today I went to rent a very small truck and everyone was very friendly. They gave me all the explanations, showed me the vehicles they had available and the process was very quick. I only needed it for 4 hours or less and without any problems. When they return they check it and that's it. Thank you very professional guys

The manager of this location Rodolfo was referred to us by his colleague from Medly. Working with Rodolfo was an absolute breeze. Everything was taken care of in a timely matter. Truck was given to us clean and most importantly in a short period of time. Thank you Rodolfo!

I went at 4:30pm on a Sunday when they close at 5:00pm. This is unacceptable, this is why U-Haul has a bad reputation, you're workers are so lazy they prefer to close the store 30 minutes before to avoid having to DO THEIR JOB. If you don't want to work for the company find another job but avoiding customers who need your service is not okay.

Today we need to rent a van in this unit, to begin with the person in charge of dealing with the public looked like he didn't have any fingers to work, he barely articulated the words he spoke without desires and you practically had to guess what he was saying, my son He had to take the car out of the garage himself because the assistant there pointed out one that wasn't the right one. He had to go back and ask another of the boys for help, who finally took it to the van but didn't take it out. When my son opened it, it was dirty. , so in summary the experience was terrible.
