The Walgreens Strore #04654 at 861 NE 8th St Homestead, Fl 33030, has been so caring and concern with my husband and our needs since we moved in with our son in 2023. The Male pharmacist has assisted us over the phone calls and at the drive in window! We totally trust and feel he looks after our health security, Thank you for having him in our community! Irma

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY!!!! DRIVE TO ANY OTHER WALGREENS PHARMACY BUT THIS ONE IS A WASTE OF TIME! I waited in line twice for 30 minutes, a whole hour of my day gone, waiting in line to be attended. I was told to wait 2 hrs for my child’s medicine. I proceeded to wait 2hrs and 30 minutes to insure my child medication would be ready I arrived waited an additional 30 minutes and was told my child’s medication was not ready that it would be one more hr. At this point i regretted taking my child prescription to this pharmacy. After 4hrs My husband picked up my child’s medication and he also waited 30 minutes in the line. If anything I recommend going outside the pharmacy but their speaker does not work so you may have some issues when speaking to the pharmacy. Overall it was a terrible experience just to get the tiniest amount of medication for my child. One third of the bottle was filled (as prescribed) and it took them 4hrs to make it along with the 30 minute wait time to get attended EACH time regardless of the amount of people in line. Just don’t waste your time here.

By far my worst experience with the pharmacy staff. They are incompetent and unethical, rude and they really don’t care about their customers. This had happened not once, but several times. Dealing with this personnel is affecting my health and my well being. Even with specific instructions from my physician they never have my medication ready correctly, and every month has become a nightmare. Please try to avoid this place. I’m definitely looking for another place. I can’t deal with this rudeness and incompetence, and if someone from the pharmaceutical trade sees this, please help us to have this issue resolve it’s not fare to the public to deal with this stress.

Terrible service is not the first time, the employees especially an older woman with short hair, listless, bored and very bad attitude towards customers. I will never come to this location again

OK so my hubby is inside to get blood drawn, but there's a guy that's coughing his head off inside the pharmacy area. My hubby asked the pharmacy attendant for a mask for the poor guy but she responded that he had asthma not covid but then said yeah she's not a doctor and walked away. Wouldn't bring my dog here!!

Visited the store 11 years ago and it was always a good experience until last night, exactly 8:20 pm. Despite placing almost all the merchandise that I was going to buy on the counter with one hand, the employee with obvious mental imbalances yelled at me, she expected me to be quicker and she also had to get rid of the stress caused by several buyers who had mistreated her... with which I had not had the courage to demand respect, I only responded that I knew what I was doing and nothing would stick. That woman named Damaris began to scream, arguing for poor treatment on my part... while everyone, including employees, witnessed that the only one who was humiliated and mistreated was me. More than a bad employee, this is an issue of having someone with obvious mental disorders serving the public. As customers we deserve respect, it is the store's responsibility to have these types of patients. It's dangerous to go to that store, I felt like it was going to hit me. It was such a level of madness that it screamed that I was ungrateful... I don't remember the day the store gave me the purchase.

By far, easily the worst Walgreens pharmacy of my entire life. They are insanely slow, and will spend a half hour talking amongst themselves before acknowledging a customer. Refills are never ready no matter how far in advance you call. Many times they won’t have it even though they confirmed on the phone it’s ready and you will get a song and dance and get a story about some arrangement they need to make to get the prescription. Just unreal unless you be Ben here. I’m not one to quickly write a bad review but after four straight exact same experiences, it becomes maddening. Go to any other pharmacy but this one and thank me later

If they tell you that your insurance doesn’t participate with them, call your insurance company and double, triple check! They made my dad go home because they told him insurance wasn’t accepted. My mom had to go back insurance book in hand to show them that his insurance does in fact work with Walgreens.
