Citrus County Dog Park is a great, quiet spot inside Bluebird Springs park. It is a very clean, beautiful, and well-kept park with wonderful scenery. The dog park itself is a gated area, tucked away at the back behind a children’s play area. It features segregated play areas with a large dog enclosure and a small dog enclosure. There is plenty of room for dogs to run and play ball. The whole park is dog friendly, though dogs must be on a leash until inside the fenced area. Poop bags and waterers are provided. There is also a little area for dogs to get down to the beautiful spring water, though there is no swimming. The park is free to enter. For amenities, there are picnic tables in the main area and in the large dog enclosure, with some in the shade, though only a bench is in the small dog enclosure. Restrooms are near enough. People at the park are always very friendly.
