“This walgreens has been through some transitions(limited hours of operation due to staff shortages), but now is GREAT! Please take this info into account when looking at past negative reviews. Also, being closed during a hurricane doesn't make them unreliable, it means they care for their staff and want them safe too. I especially appreciate Brian, the pharmacist. I have never had a pharmacist go above and beyond to try and proactively problem solve an issue with insurance or proactively provide creative options when dealing with nation-wide medication shortages. He can't fix the shortages, but he does everything within his power to help and I very much appreciate that. With the shortages, I imagine it can be very frustrating trying to please customers with limited options, but he also pushes through with a pleasant attitude. Thank you to Brian and the rest of the staff who have contributed to making this walgreens one of the best.”

“I have been using this pharmacy for about 2 years & it’s always been a nice experience. But today was absolutely an amazing experience. In a time when it seems so many don’t want to work, or have such bad attitudes, Sandra went over and beyond for me & I am ever so thankful. It was the end of her shift, and I only know this because I seen her leaving afterwards, you would of never known from her attitude or the way she treated me. I wasn’t rushed, and as messed up as my situation was, she never got an attitude or frustrated. She was an absolute dream & life saver honestly. I also want to say, Jazmine checked me out & she was very nice, quick & efficient. The way I was treated & my situation being handled in the way it was, is what I had hoped for when switching to this pharmacy & because of these 2 & the rest of the staff, I will continue to stay using them ❤️ I highly recommend anyone looking for a pharmacy or not happy with their pharmacy, switch to Homosassa Walmart pharmacy, you won’t be disappointed!”

“This by far is the BEST PHARMACY I have been to. I had a problem getting my medicine from another chain pharmacy so I called up here and spoke to the pharmacist Brian if I could give a employee of the year award Brian would get it!Honestly the entire staff is GREAT!!They are HELPFUL & HELP ANY WAY THEY CAN!!They are efficient and your not waiting long but Honestly they handled everything superman fast so fast and you can bet this is my new pharmacy down in Florida it's worth going to I have never had a more Perfect time at a pharmacy!!So BRAVO TO THE PHARMACY TEAM AT THIS LOCATION YOUR THE BEST!!!”

“Some ignorant people construct negative reviews without understanding the protocols required for prescriptions. CVS is not McDonalds, the pharmacy must follow procedures to prevent the wrong medicine being sent which could be deadly. I have used this pharmacy for years and this team is one of the best. They are well trained and as professional as can be. Please ignore the prior negative review, as you can see he can't spell, except the word "dude". Third grade must have been tough for him.”

“I'm writing this review for the pharmacy part of the store only. My husband and I wanted to get our flu vaccines and found out that our regular pharmacy did not have the over 65 flu vaccination that my husband needed. So I called our local Walgreens and found out yes indeed they have both doses of the flu vaccine. The pharmacy aide said no appointment necessary just come in. We signed in and were given paperwork to fill out regarding any health/ allergy issues. Just a couple of pages and HIPPA documents to be filled out and signed. They also took our insurance and identification cards. Then a short wait in their small sitting area for there were two people in front of us. The pharmacist called me behind the screen divider and introduced herself then proceeded to go over my answers. She also asked which arm I preferred to get my injection. I told her it mattered not. She then swabbed my upper arm with an alcohol wipe, waited for a few seconds to dry and gave me my shot. She was very gentle - I hardly felt it. The pharmacist was friendly, fast and efficient - sanitizing her hands before and after my vaccine. My husband and I were in and out under 20 minutes. A very positive experience and we would definitely go for our yearly flu vaccine again.”
