If there were possibility of clicking zero stars, this store should be zero!
I’m new to the Homosassa area.
I needed a pharmacy because I recently broke both of my hips.
This Walgreens is the closest pharmacy to me and I asked my doctors to send my prescriptions here.
BIIGG MISTAKE!!
This is the worst pharmacy I have encountered in my life. They should be reported to the state board.
The first time I used them for a simple antibiotic.
Their pharmacy was closed unexpected for two days. They had no pharmacist for two days because they said that they were “shorthanded”
And their pharmacist was traveling.
I had to wait three days just to get an antibiotic….
The second time I used them after my hip replacement.
My doctor called the medication in at 10 AM on a Friday, And they wouldn’t fill it because they couldn’t verify my insurance information..
When I asked if I could just pay cash, I was given the runaround
Finally, the following Monday morning, they filled it and I paid Cash.. it was only $34
They held my medication hostage over $34!
This month I needed the same medication after my surgery.
The doctor called it in on Monday morning at 10 AM I spoke to the pharmacist. They said they would have it filled by 3pm.
At 5 pm I headed to get my Rx.
I waited 20 minutes in line and the drive-through. The drive-through line did not move at all, so I backed up and went inside .
I had to go inside (With my walker, my hip replacement surgery was seven days ago)
I was told it is still not ready and I would have to stand there and wait another 45 minutes.
This was two hours after I was told it would be ready And then when I show up, I’m told to wait another 45 minutes.
Do not use this pharmacy!!
They are unprofessional, unethical and unorganized and according to them “always short staffed”
I am nurse practitioner and I am appalled
By my experience with this Walgreens.
Your medication’s should be kept at one pharmacy for your convenience as well ad it is best for your providers…
the best advise I can give GO Anywhere else, but here!

It's a good store I've had no problems with him a message me when my medications ready to pick up and they're easy and kind to deal with

I was speaking to a older lady with blonde hair who was the manager. As I was speaking to her she answered the phone and didn't even ask me to hold on and then after the phone call she just walked away and didn't finish my conversation I had to address her and say hey I wasn't done talking. How rude!!! I will not be back to the Walgreens

My favorite part is while they are telling you that your Dr never called back and the phone is ringing and ringing and going to voicemail! This store should be shut down and the employees sent back to Taco Bell. Except for the young gentleman Who is always been excellent. He gets 5 stars.

I agree this is the worst pharmacy . The store manager Slava S is very rude and was laughing at me as she gave me the wrong name of a pharmacist to report to the state . She refused to walk toward the Plexiglas from inside the pharmacy so I had to kneel down to try to hear her after I had told her I was hard of hearing, I am also disabled as well. She though it was very funny .

I've been trying to get my prescription for over a week now today when I was told I could finally get it it's out of stock. After all these reminders really. Don't use Walgreens on US 19 and grover Cleveland in homosasa Florida they are the worst.

Hard to get a hold of. Always a long wait on the phone. Tried to call and get them to contact Walmart to get my prescriptions transferred over and they told me I need to call Walmart to have Walmart transfer the prescriptions over. I call back another day and they said that I have to call Walmart and have them transfer the stuff over. They gave confusing information that didn’t make any sense. I had to call Walmart and tell them to ask Walgreens to talk to the Walmart pharmacist in order to transfer my prescriptions from Walmart to this Walgreens because they weren’t listening to me. Not happy. This should have been easy for me. I am almost out of all my meds.
