On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, there were announcements made on the television that there was going to be quite a severe hurricane in Homosassa. It was suggested to have all necessary items on hand, including prescriptions. Therefore, I called the Walgreens pharmacy in Sugar Millwoods to verify if I could pick up my medication. The Walgreens employee told me I couldn’t pick them up until Thursday. I told them that was the date of the storm. They assured me that the store would be open on Thursday and I could pick up my medication at that time However, when I called the pharmacy today, and I looked them up on the Internet, they were closed. I cannot get the daily medication I I needed.

I drive an hour to this location because of availability issues with my script closer to home but the staff are so friendly and Brian in the pharmacy is so upbeat and helpful that it totally makes the drive worth it!

This Walgreens is disgusting. They removed their garbage can “because people were throwing their trash in it and taking advantage of it” so their employees just leave their cigarette butts everywhere.

The girl at drive thru added a note to my pain Medication as to where I could find over the counter med for overdosing on my pain med, assuming because I am getting pain medication right after a total knee revision that I or anyone is a drug addiction moron.

I’d like to point out a specific person in pharmacy name tag said “Jennifer” she’s beyond RUDE. Her attitude is disgusting almost as if she doesn’t like her job. The constantly rolling her eyes and dropping the phone when trying to speak is ignorant as they come. It’s incredibly hard to not say more about her but my experience with her was horrible and she shouldn’t be working the window especially with how many tantrums she threw in the 15minutes it took for her to take my prescriptions. I’ll gladly take my prescriptions else where, where someone enjoys their job and making a pay check especially since it’s out of pocket and not through insurance. Fire her!

This by far is the BEST PHARMACY I have been to. I had a problem getting my medicine from another chain pharmacy so I called up here and spoke to the pharmacist Brian if I could give a employee of the year award Brian would get it!Honestly the entire staff is GREAT!!They are HELPFUL & HELP ANY WAY THEY CAN!!They are efficient and your not waiting long but Honestly they handled everything superman fast so fast and you can bet this is my new pharmacy down in Florida it's worth going to I have never had a more Perfect time at a pharmacy!!So BRAVO TO THE PHARMACY TEAM AT THIS LOCATION YOUR THE BEST!!!

Pharmacy employees are repeatedly nasty to numerous customers…Couple of you all are taking advantage of the fact that you are women, because if a man talked to customers the way I have seen you talk to them, he would be dragged over the counter and dealt with, better hope you dont come across one of those with less tolerance for disrespect. Gonna start showing up with a bag of popcorn and a lawn chair to make sure I catch that show…

The worst place ever! Came to pick up medications, been told to come back later. I came back a day after, and l’v been told to wait 20 min because they are not ready yet (from yesterday!) On top of that they didn’t have 1 medication, and told me to come on 03/07. Came back to pick up, but now they even don’t have prescription! They have had 7 days ago, but now they don’t have! What a joke of medical facility, sad, very sad…
