“Went there for one thing and came out with more lol BUT the reason for the review Is… An employee named Anthony there was such a delight, he was there to open the door when we were arriving because he was already outside, but it was nice of him to actually stop what he was doing and open the door for us… Then as we were shopping and we were coming to check out, he said, did you find everything you needed and we said everything but one thing you’re out of and he said what was it and we told him and he said oh no it’s right here and he knew exactly where it was! Thank you Anthony, all stores need more like you!!”
“My son and I were looking for some items that our church had on a list for the church pantry. We were able to find everything on the list at reasonable prices. Such as Chicken Noodle Soup, Chicken (canned) and other food items. The people at the church were very grateful for our help and support!”

“Excellent customer service. The Clerk that assisted me at checkout was polite courteous and outgoing. I visited Saturday July 18th, 2026 around 830am. I can't remember the clerks name.
I am sorry to hear (from another customer) that coupons can no longer be supplied by the clerks due to the company wanting to save 5 dollars on purchases over 20. I expected more from Dollar General.
So 5 stars for the clerk, 0 for the company.”
