I called this salon on Thursday and I was told a color was 40.00 , so I booked an appt for Saturday, thinking finally a salon with a desent price to just have my roots colored. when I was done, I asked what I owed , she told me 65.00 ..,I told her I called and was told 40.00. She told me color went up..I told her I had just called and asked 2 days ago. I wasn't happy. I won't be going back.

I absolutely love Hair-Um! Maria is my stylist and does an absolutely fabulous job! I could not be more pleased with her and all the beautiful ladies at Hair-Um. I highly, highly recommend them!

Hair-Um is a small cozy beauty salon with my wife’s favorite hairstylist Debbie. Her husband Dave also works here as a barber. Both of these good folks have been in their profession for decades and are experts in their trade. A slight disclaimer is we have known both of these folks for 25 years. This is a nicely appointed shop with plenty of privacy of the clients in a small shop center with plenty of parking.I forgot to say it is tastefully decorated with lots of eclectic furniture and other items.

I have been with Debbie for over 10 yrs now and when I say this woman knows what she’s doing. She’s so good that each time I have a touchup done with my hair color She’s able to blend it to the T-perfect, that-not 1 person can tell I had the color touchup done. I have long curly more reddish blonde hair with lots of layers which she is able to make it look full and healthy. On top of her talent with hair she is full of life and has such a big heart also good conversationalist. I don’t ever want her to stop doing my hair I’d be heartbroken. all I can say is thank you for being my godsend and my hair thanks you too…????

I NEVER write reviews on ANY place I’ve been to but I would just like to warn people ahead of time before wasting your money that this is not the place to go to.. I asked for a balayage TOUCH UP for all my hair that already grew out and cut although the cut was very nice the color was not I was VERY disappointed instead of just touching up the roots of the balayage where my hair had grown out the hair stylist did my ends as well which DID NOT needed to be done the ends were already good and light enough just needed a touch up so instead my ends ended up being a different color since they were already so light to begin with and my roots a different color !! So please save your money and go else where they charged me for what did not need to be done in the first place because they didn’t know what they were doing … which then made me pay for services that did not need to be done so please save your self time and your money and go somewhere where they understand what needs to be done !!Service: Balayage

I am so happy I found this place. Maria is Dominican and she knows well how to work with thick curly ethnic hair. She listened to what I was communicating. My hair color was beautiful and shiny. The owner Roseanne is such a beautiful soul. Salonists give a family vibe. I highly recommend this salon.
