I would give no stars if google would let me. Pre ordered and pre paid for a large Greek salad and when I went to pick it up they had given it away to some with the same first name. The employees yelled at each other and told me to wait for the other person to return the salad. I had to request for a new salad to be made and no compensation was offered. The entire situation was handled in an inappropriate manner. I did not return for a year and a half until yesterday. Yesterday I bought all of the fixings for chicken soulvaki to get home and realize none of the chicken lollipops we paid for were in the bag. I called the store, they remembered checking me out and what I bought but said well they're not here.

I ordered 6 filet mignon steaks in the store, a week before Christmas and pre-paid for them. I was told to come in on Monday, 12/23 to pick them up.
On that Monday, a woman behind the meat counter asked what I needed and I told her I was there to pick up my pre-paid order, 6 filets, receipt in hand. She said "did someone call you or get in touch with you?" I said "no, I was told to come in on Monday."
She told me I should have recv;d a call first, but took the receipt.
I didn't see her agin for more than 15 minutes. Then she came out and handed me a wrapped package.
Christmas day, we unwrapped the package and found 6 steaks. 5 of the 6 were very thin, about 1/2" thick and one was 1 1/4" thick. I've had filet much of my life these were not filet. Top sirloin perhaps, or even round steak, but the appearance alone was way off.
We had to vary the cooking times because of the wide difference in sizes. Then, when I put my knife into the steak it was literally tough even at medium rare. The flavor was all wrong as well for filet. Our company had the same reaction to their 5 steaks.
So, in my unprofessional opinion, I recv'd something other than filet, 100% for sure based on 50 years of experience. Or, if this is their filet, you're much better off at Publix.
I have had filet from Publix which were way, way, better than this in terms of uniformity, and above all, taste and tenderness.

I gave it 5 stars because I usually go there around twice a week for lunch. Generally great sandwiches and good choice of salads. Today, however, I was quite taken aback! I ordered a prosciutto and provolone (imported), which I've ordered before. Lo and behold, when I got to check out, that 7.99 sub blossomed to 15 bucks! OUTRAGEOUS! I'd expect a bit of an upcharge for "imported", but nearly DOUBLE! Had I been told it would be that much, and I should have,I wouldn't have gotten it. So, usually quite satisfied, but feeling RIPPED OFF AND ROBBED today.

This is the second time that we bought the bison steaks. They were freaking awesome!!!! Tender, juicy and melt in your mouth!!! I love this meat market and have been a customer for years.
