the staff is very rude and disrespectful trying to talk “down on us” like if we weren’t there and all the staff giving you dirty looks and talking about everyone within themself

I went in to buy a battery. I was sold the wrong battery. Went and exchanged it for another battery. Which was the correct battery it looked like it is was used. I've been in a vehicle previously.
I was running late for an eye. Doctor show, I ran it up the interstate, and back I was four hours stop by autozone, they said that the battery was bad and had no reserve. When trying to put it under a load test, it would only read bad battery. The people at Ace Hardware was very rude using file language, threatening physical altercation.
Do not do business with these people

Have rarely been treated ruder in my life. I am a foreman for a large construction company and am frequently in hardware stores and use to dealing with their staff. This was above and beyond attitude rude. I reckon they figure there isn’t another hardware store for 20 miles, they can be as rude as they want. Not an attitude I’m comfortable spending my or my company’s money with. Don’t get me started on the phone call I tried to make to verify the front desk lady was correct. 16 times I was put back on hold before I was hung up on. Again, no thank you.

Price tag on the shelf is different than what rings up,and you show they don't care. They charge you the higher price. The manager said do you want me to give you your money. He takes out his wallet said you are making a deal over $4.00.
