When I checked in the entire time floor was damp with condensation. Beach town so I get it.Many electrical outlets didn’t work, so no coffee! No hot water on my second morning! In the middle of winter.A small closet but no hangers! The hotel nor Expedia would refund me any amount. Never consider this place except for location and safety.

No Pool, no hot tub, no hot water, moldy room, obnoxious low class guests, and overall didn’t feel like a very safe place.Very disappointed about the pool and hot tub no longer in service due to them being filled in with dirt. Pool and hot tub was the selling point for us when comparing to other hotels nearby, so it was quite upsetting to find out the one feature we desired was not available. Priceline had falsely advertised Pool and hot tub so we contacted them about it and only offered us 15% off our next booking. Since no hot tub we were hoping to take a nice hot shower and hot water lasted about 2 minutes and the water heater break apparently tripped, so we took a cold shower and maintenance lady showed us how to flip the breaker and we had to continue doing that for every shower. There were other guests arguing loudly outside our room about cigarette smoke and our microwave was moldy. Other than that good location–you can walk across street to the beach, but that should be expect from a hotel on the beach. It looks recently renovated so you can tell they are trying to improve, service was good and maintenance lady was very helpful and understanding, but not worth it for the money in my opinion. Although a cheap hotel, a hotel like that should not be on the beach where people are coming to vacation. Seemed more like a spot to take hookers to for a night. I would spend a little extra if you plan on enjoying your beach vacation.Noteworthy details: No pool, no hot tub, no hot water, moldy microwave, few power outlets worked, and other sketchy customers and guests.

Perfect little beachside hotel. Reasonably priced. Not stupid fancy. Walking distance to the beach. Front desk help was friendly. Exactly what we were hoping to find. Coffee in the room wasn’t great…. But the price and location cannot be beat.

Overall I would rate this hotel 3/5 stars. Pros: Literally walking distance to beach (right across street) and walking distance to Walmart and places to eat. If you’re lazy you may not like the quarter mile walk. It was quiet. The CUBAN RESTAURANT in the parking lot is AMAZING. Do yourself a favor and get the pork and yellow rice. It’s a convenient location. We don’t like to be around a bunch of people partying acting crazy, and we never saw any of that. Bed was comfy. We didn’t see any roaches or bugs. Ac worked well.Cons: The rooms were very very mediocre. They’ve attempted to update, but the update job was very mediocre. If you’re bougie, the rooms would not be up to par for you. Customer’s were smoking marijuana outside the rooms, but I didn’t notice anyone doing crack or shooting up drugs. Also, there is no longer a pool and hot tub. It was filled in.If you don’t need the fanciest things, like a hotel right by the beach, and like amazing food, then this hotel will work for a couple nights. I would come back.

As far as an "At The Beach" motel with great prices, you can't beat it! The location is great, the rooms are clean and nice, they even have a pool and hot whirl pool. Great, Affordable Vacation Getaway!Nearby activities: Within walking distance are nice restaurants with bars, ice cream stands, breakfast, and fast food places. Walmart is right up the road a few blocks. Pizza, liquor store, and groceries. On any of the walkable beaches, and there are a few, heading north to dog beach. You can fly kites, boogie board, surf, swim, fish, and boating.

Beware!!This place almost seem like a scam to me. I book through Expedia for a hotel that's closed by to the beach. The pictures provided seem misleading of the actual place. This place are rundown and seem concerning upon arrival. There a shopping cart on the side and random shoe just laying around. I would not feel safe leaving anything behind in the room while going out.Making things worse. There no place like you go inside to check in. The a guest service area all locked down and you speaking to a camera/intercoms. I wonder why. My booking check in are 2pm. However upon arrival and 45 minutes later. They still not able to do so. I end up contacting Expedia for cancellation.I would recommend stay away from this location so you don't end up ruin your vacation or worst.Safety: The place seem rundown. I saw shopping cart park outside and random shoes laying around.

My parents stayed there while visiting us for the weekend and it was clean, reasonably priced for the beach and the location was good. It was not much of a hotel room though. They can definitely do more to make it a little nicer and updated. We had another guest come visit to stay at the same Inn and the prices had gone up quite a bit. The microwave in their room was burnt and filthy on the inside. The refrigerator was leaning because it was missing a leg. She told the front desk, and they seemed indifferent. They lost our business. Definitely not worth the money.

In the process of renovating the rooms. Work was sloppy and unfinished. Broken leg on chair. But the price was half that of the other hotel motels in the area. Clean room and bed and good size room. No maid service to replace coffee items or towels or make bed. Had to register outside thru window which took way too long especially since it was drizzling.Rooms: Sloppy repairs to the ceiling and tile on the floor. Leg broken on one of the only two chairs.Noteworthy details: Reservation was for two days, two guests. We had two towels two wash cloths two tea towels and four cups of coffee no one came to change the bedding or at least make the bed and change towels or replenished the coffee items.

Allocated room 114. Cannot leave zero stars so please deduct one star for very noisy inefficient aircon, deduct one star for cracked ceiling, missing tiles, and general lack of maintenance and deduct one star for available wifi that was too weak to work . Management grudgingly responded to request for aircon to be fixed and who said suspicious white stuff on bathroom floor was just paint that fell from the ceiling! The bed was clean and comfortable and a fridge and coffee machine provided but no hair dryer. We coped for one night but would not return or recommend.

Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Amenities are basic, and there is definitely no pool. Ok for a quick pit stop on a road trip, but thought it was expensive for what it was.

Unfortunately, we did not like the rooms. They look nothing like the picture on their website. Our sheets were dirty, there were cockroaches in the room when we walked in, there is mold above the door, and the door had duct tape surrounding the lock. The woman at the front was extremely nice and understood that we didn’t want to stay there or feel comfortable there, so she did end up giving us a full refund because we did leave.Walkability: There was a nice restaurant next door to the place.

Nice stay; nice people, except the cleaning personnel didn't dry out the coffee maker making for tiny bugs in the reservoir. The owner brought a brand new coffee maker as an alternative. The shampoo was used I figured out; there were two teaspoons of shampoo having to use the bar of soap from China to help the shampoo was the rest of my hair. Get an American to clean and all will be perfect.

I am not sure that our room (103) was representative of the others, but it was in terrible shape regardless of the updates. Water continuously dripped from the bathroom ceiling on to a shelf holding towels and down onto the commode. As other reviewers noted, the lower bathroom door frame was rotten and moldy. There were small holes in the tile floor and one large hole (abt 4 X 6 in) in the rear corner of the room. Obviously the sink had not been remodeled as the drawers were filthy and the surface showed cigarette burns. One of the drawers in the dresser had no bottom or back. The rear window had been broken by objects thrown or shot at it. There was a significant gap under the outside door which would allow insects to enter, but fortunately we saw none. The toilet seat was very loose when we arrived, but I managed to fix that. The floor was dirty, as evidenced by our light colored sox turning black on the bottom. Finally, there was no continental breakfast served as promised on their website. I was not expecting anything special based on the price, but these conditions were unacceptable.(Stayed 3 nights February 2023. I have pictures, but don't see how to post them.)
