This place has kind of gone down the drain since the new owners took over. Donna and Rick were never money hungry like the new owners now. No student discount anymore, more expensive monthly membership overall ($36 and now they also charge tax), and the amount of fees are ridiculous. Only way to pause your membership is to pay $15 a month which is the price of a Crunch membership BTW. Otherwise you have to pay ANOTHER $50 initiation fee every time you want to come back, even if you've already been a member before! Also if you have to cancel there is a month notice or else you have to pay another fee. Donna and rick made things much more convenient for their clients and actually cared about them. How ridiculous. This place is absolutely taking you for every nickel and dime. Ive been going here for 6 years and had to travel for work and will have to pay almost $100 in fees. If you're going to charge this much at least replace the equipment that's 100 years old.

The equipment is pretty old, at least one third of the treadmills don't work. I went in because all the social media sites say $35/mo no contract. My friends have that deal, but apparently now it's $50 with a $50 setup fee, so to walk in there and get a membership, the total is $107 or $15 for a day pass. With that price, I asked about amenities, and the man at the desk said, "you're looking at 'em. It's an old school gym." For reference, I do cardio to warm up and powerlifting for my workout. After a day of working out there, we decided to find a different gym.

Equipment is old and in need of repair. Despite this, they are charging extremely high membership fees. Worth the drive for better quality.

Fellow veterans and military steer clear. New ownership obviously has some kind of issue with us. Said we were "abusing" the system by simply having a veteran discount. won't go into detail about the personal experience with their demeanorWhat I don't think they know or realize is that we get gym access for free at Patrick AFB right up the road, we came (and paid) to this gym because of the friendly community atmosphere that the old owners put their heart and soul into fostering.after 6+ years I unfortunately cant recommend this place until they change owners again

This has been my home gym for over 10 years. It is not a corporate gym with bells and whistles. It’s a no nonsense old school weight training gym with equipment you will not find anywhere else. I love the back room and all my training friends here, it truly is my second home beachside. The class schedule has always been great too!

Grandmother trying to set up an account for her grandson but they don't answer the phone! I've been trying for 2 days and about 5 times just now! Message states that the person has not set up voicemail yet? And I'm not giving my grandson my credit card!!

Beach bodies has a wide variety of quality equipment/machines, positive atmosphere, friendly staff and it's well maintained as well as clean. It has an excellent location! The VIP section has private additional equipment along with powerlifting room. Definitely the place to train at.

Great hours, helpful staff, and more equipment than you know what to do with. They even have a VIP portion of the gym that’s has a multi-rack rig, a ton of added leg and back equipment, and a full powerlifting room. I have always enjoyed this gym, and it’s getting even better!!

Huge fan of what this gym represents! Coming together as a healthy fitness community and leaving the nonsense out the door! Plus that manager at the front desk is cute too.

It’s disappointing to witness a place that should be bringing the community together, is doing the complete opposite. I don’t workout there because I’ve had several friends tell me what goes on there and it’s unfortunate to see a business handle situations the way this business has. Word of mouth matters.

Best gym around the amount of equipment they have, the energy of the staff, literally everything about it makes me feel like I’m training in an actual gym again!! Love everything about the environment, and it helps that it’s also a 2 min walk from the beach!
