Just went to this thrift store on Saturday. I have been coming to this thrift store for about 8 years now. This time my experience was horrible! I asked to look at something in a glass case and when I was finished looking at the item the lady says, can you put the earrings back, basically accusing me of stealing them. The earrings were always in the case, you never took them out. I'm really not sure why they have gotten new volunteers but the people they have in there now act like they are too good for you and if you touch something glass they will freak out.

Just came to the store a couple days ago. The people volunteering now are acting like they don't want you in the store. Everything was overpriced. You could buy new for cheaper. I just felt like I was inconveniencing them.

It is hard to believe this establishment is for the children. I recently had a horrible experience when a worker, Joan, physically removed my child from the toy room.My daughter was in the toy room picking out a toy, as I told her she could. I hear someone telling her she needs to leave, as I am listening I see a woman, Joan, physically touching my child and ushering her out of the room, telling her she cannot be there. I step in and tell Joan my child can stay there as she was given permission by me. Joan instantly gets upset and says well she said she could not be, I then reiterate that she can stay. At this point Joan loses it. She starts going off about if I plan to send my child to school cause it would do her good to be away from me. She also tries to involve the cashier, when the cashier shows no interest of getting involved Joan then starts loudly ranting about me and my daughter and starts walking down the hall to their break room where she continued to talk about my young child to all the other employees. I then stepped into the break room and told her it was very disheartening to hear a woman speak this way about me and my child- she said she was disrespected, I calmly explained to her she was not disrespected, in fact she was completely out of line to ever think she had the right to touch/instruct my child. If there is an issue (which there was not, it was a power struggle for this woman to enforce her way), she can address the parent- never touch or address my child without first coming to me. She could not handle this and continued to spiral. I later called in to speak to the manager, Cindy, who agreed Joan was in the wrong but also blamed it on the elderly staff and that "the workers are volunteers and most in their 70's and that brings its own set of difficulties", to which I ultimately say is not my problem. How are they being veted as volunteers around young children? In that instance I no longer felt my daughter nor I were safe at Little Lamb. I have heard Joan say "as a former educator she doesn't like homeschoolers or their moms". I have also heard her telling workers to price things higher, and when they said well I don't think its worth that she literally responded with "who cares". I have heard another associate say kids aren't cute when you have to pick up after them all day, and many other instances that if you read the reviews you can see is a disheartening trend for this establishment. I do not believe some of these volunteers should be allowed to work around children, especially when the manager is already aware of the issues they repeatedly bring to the shoppe. After this instance multiple shoppers came up to me saying how the women here are very rude/mean and they have overheard/experienced negative interactions as well.

This is a great thrift store. Pricing is good and the items are usually very nice. Was a little disappointed on this visit to find things without prices and some broken items. Checking out is usually a slow process but they do the best they can.

While I would like to keep it a secret, I can't. The Lamb Shoppe is a treasure chest. You can never tell what you may find there. They get some lovely items. The best part is that they help some very needy young people. Its a win, win, win.

I'm only giving 1 star because a couple of the ladies that work there were nice. There is an incredibly disrespectful elderly woman that works there that told my daughters "What good on earth are you if you can't put clothes away". We had left about 6 items in the dressing room that we weren't buying because we were also just told by her to "Make a selection" and "We're closed, you need to leave" 5 minutes before closing time. Then when she heard my daughters tell me that they couldn't believe how mean she is she strolled by with a nasty look on her face and said "You don't have to like me, you just have to do as I say". I'm appalled that she felt that she could speak to us that way. I will not be returning and I would suggest that everyone take their business elsewhere.

With 60,000 deaths, from Covid, in just the single month of January 2022, I am happy they are asking their patrons to put on a mask. A small inconvenience to save someone a trip to the hospital or from death. However, no excuse for being rude (as noted in the prior reviewers comments).
