My elderly friend's dog died at 2AM she called them at 7AM only to be told he was dead. SHE HAD TO CALL THEM? Heartless just heartless. All she has. What is wrong with these people??? Oh wait that's right you already made 3000.00 dollars.

Samson went in for annual exam. Dr Pepen discovered a sucipious growth that ended up being a mast cell tumor. Samson received blood work, shots and scheduled for surgery. it is such a blessing he found it before it became worse.

What was hopeful today turned out to be a very sad day. Raylyn our beautiful cat had to be put to sleep as she was very sick. Yes she was 12 yrs old and not a young cat but she was a lovely cat and loving and beautiful and had attitude and spunk in her yrs on this earth . She was left by some evil people or person and ended up being cared for by myself and my neighbor. She had many yrs of love from us . Mark at Aloha was just wonderful and the doctor and all the staff were very helpful and caring today . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Linda / Joe .... We love you Raylyn aka mama

Our dog was diagnosed with Lymphoma. The first vet we spoke to at Aloha told us the most effective form of care, the CHOP procedure, worked on a basis of 4 week rotations, and that most patients entered remission after 8-12 weeks. We decided to go through with that option. After 8 weeks and thousands of dollars spent, a different vet told us that our dog had 19 weeks more to go and the procedure is a fixed timeline. When I mentioned that we were told differently at first, they tried to gaslight us and said that was never the case. Because that information drastically impacted our decision to go through with treatment, Aloha defrauded us out of thousands. Do not take your pet here. They will rob you hand over fist.

Gotta love it when they delete Google reviews. I brought my cat due to an unexpected experience after coming back home. She was found stuck, and crying for help due to immobility. Due to her young age, and environment (she is a four year old indoor cat, with no environmental, nor nutritional changes in 1 yr.+) this was unexpected. She was brought to the nearest veterinarian clinic- Aloha Pet & Bird Hospital, immediately. My cat's symptoms were explained to the staff upon check-in, which were- loss of strength (specifically lower limbs), and acid reflux symptoms (decreased appetite, vomiting, and weight loss). Further symptoms explained were refusal to eat her food, lethargic behavior, and possible anorexia (again all provided to personnel). As any successful vet clinic, the costs were presented first in order for the owner to proceed forward with their pet's care, and make an "educational" decision in regards to their pet's medical treatment. Based on the physical examinations, Dr. Vani informed that my cat was weak (already mentioned, therefore expected), underweight (already mentioned, therefore expected), and suffering from hypothermia (newly provided information). Dr. Vani then showed the bill for more tests of which she explained to be the next steps toward finding a diagnosis. Due to the $800+ costs of care (especially immediate), diagnostic tests were performed gradually in order to rule out any medical concerns such as- urinary tract infection (UTI), the possibility of kidney stones, cancers, tumors, etc.- Fortunately, everything came back negative. Unfortunately, this also meant that no "puzzle" was solved nor planned to be. Despite the lack of diagnoses, it was recommended to either put my cat into overnight care (for the only purpose of maintaining life- no certainty of my cat's survival), or to perform euthanasia in office (cheaper option, which was available). This was instantly refused. My cat is back home and recovering. My inquiries of whether these symptoms were caused by lack of nutrients were deviated, and the recommended form of treatment (and costs) did not budge. Staff members were professional, however compassion was lacking. Maybe this lack of compassion was due to the environment they work in (working around the sick is no easy task), but I will tell you that the financial aspect did not receive the same blatant inadequacy. I have brought my dog (13 yrs. old) last year in this clinic due to symptoms of old age. Unfortunately, she passed within days after $1500+ of treatment was already paid... the additional $4000+ care was not an option for me. HOWEVER, my dog passed naturally and peacefully at home, in my arms. After I called, the Aloha clinic did an amazing job reaching out to a third-party service for her cremation needs (~$500). Despite being a retired disabled veteran with military ID, while paying for all of my dog's care I happened to overhear another front desk staff member mention a 10% benefit for military to the couple next to me. The front desk staff member working with me was not as considerate. She continued to type away, and ignored my status although she was aware of this helpful discount. Naturally I felt invalidated, and I couldn't help but lose my composure by crying when I realized that my pet was just another number. I felt like nothing less than an inconvenience to their work day. This time around, not only was this not mentioned, but after I asked, I was questioned and confronted despite it being provided on multiple government-provided IDs. I even offered to show my Dog Tags. Based on my experiences, it all just seemed to me that this clinic is either a "pay for the care" if able to provide the financial requirements, or a "it is humane to put your pet down" clinic if unable to pay. Although people referred to this clinic as "KILL-oha" Pet & Bird Hospital, I kept giving this location a chance. I really hope this review assists the clinic, and staff for that matter, with some ideas for

We brought our dogs to a different vet for eight years spent a lot of money and when one of our dogs got sick, told us to go to the emergency vet. They didn't have any availability. We brought that same dog over to ALOHA and they got us right in. I never realized how truly fantastic this office was until I got a puppy last week. He was the runt the tiniest dog I had ever seen. After watching him in our home for a day something about him seemed not quite right. My husband said I was crazy. Dr. Dan listened to me and took my concern seriously. If he had not my puppy would've been dead by the next morning. He had a blood sugar of 31 it should be over 100. The dog had to be hospitalized immediately and when I called to check on him, everyone from the girl who answered the phone to the night tech who never seemed aggravated I kept checking in ,was caring and compassionate Dr. Dan came up with a plan and we are following it This little guy who just hit a pound and has to be fed every four hours for at least the next three weeks already means so much to us. My animals will never go to any other vet. And I will forever be grateful to the staff here.

Years ago, the office was focused on caring for your pet, but has changed into being more about exorbitant fees and less about concern for your pet. Truly disappointed!

I read some reviews on here and I honestly didn't want to come. My German shepherd all of a sudden couldn't walk and was screaming in pain. I was referred to aloha because his regular vet couldn't assist him. I heard that Aloha is very expensive and only wants to bill you as much as possible... Well I went anyways and I was surprised with the friendly staff, from the front desks to the assist and and especially from the doctor. They got my pup up and walking again with the right treatments and care. It was not that expensive and they offer care credit as well. Don't let reviews that Karens write differ you from getting the best care for your best friend. I would absolutely be coming back here even if it's out of the way. Everyone here is amazing.

I love the vet, but I had a big issue with the vet tech. With the amount of money that we spend for their care and trust show your staff how to treat customers.

Wonderful groomers! Brought our little multi-breed guy here to be groomed for the first time and they did a wonderful job. He's very rambunctious, yet they were very professional and now he's such a handsome boy! About the same price as another "pet salon" we took him to over the summer and he came home from that place with cuts and razor burn. What a difference. We will definitely bring him back to Aloha.

This facility is very expensive. The staff was great with my dogs. They advertise avian vets. Do not believe this. They have been horrible with my birds.
