All craft stores are not alike. Michaels always has what I'm looking for and the employees are eager to help you find anything! Cashier even helped me to download a coupon and saved me almost $10.

I was initially skeptical about how this store would thrive beachside, especially since I could think of ten other businesses that would do well here. However, when I visited for the first time, I was impressed by how neat and organized the store was.
That said, I had a really uncomfortable experience with the management. Wherever I went in the store, the manager seemed to appear, as if he was following me. I spent about 30 minutes browsing, and not once did he ask if I needed help. Yet, he was constantly nearby, and when I got to the checkout, he suddenly appeared there too. It didn't feel like a coincidence.
I don’t steal and would never consider it, so this level of surveillance was unsettling. Because of this, I won’t be returning to this location—I’d rather drive to the mainland to shop elsewhere.

Typical average lotion for Michaels, nothing too exceptional. The limited staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean, organized and laid out well. Ample parking in a sleepy shopping center.

Don't we all just love a good craft store? Michaels was clean & organized. The staff was very helpful & happy. Someone walked us over to what we were looking for when we asked where it was. Great customer svc. I will be using this store as my home store.

Sandy is so sweet! She’s so helpful & when I didn’t realize I was there a few minutes before close, she didn’t mind & even helped me find coupons for my purchase. She’s so creative too and came up with different ideas for a project I was doing! This woman needs a raise

This location isn't as big as other Michael's but because it's beachside, it's understandable.I have usually found the supplies I'm looking for. I especially like their clearance sections, easily found with their eye catching signs.After the holidays they never did drop their leftover inventory beyond 70%. So if there's something that catches your eye, grab it as it's not going to go to 90% off.Everyone there has always been helpful and attentive.The location opened in late 2023 so it's super new and clean. ? A nice perk.

I recently had a large, complicated framing job that needed careful attention. We'd designed a multi-window gallery frame/mat to showcase a board of directors, and the spacing had to be exact. I brought a detailed mock-up with all the dimensions, and they all had to be entered into the framing department's computer. The employee who worked with me, Steph, was amazing. She was patient and knowledgeable, and didn't make me feel that our project was a pain (but to me, it was!) The mat turned out perfectly, just as we'd designed. The finished piece looks gorgeous and professional. Thank you Steph, and our local Michaels! So happy you're here beachside.

They are the sweetest most awesome people EVER! I had purchased some items on three different orders and all were the wrong size - MY FAULT. Two were online orders and one in-store. I had used sales, coupons and vouchers making it MORE complicated. There system doesn't allow 'exchanges', just returns. Yet these lovely women overcame every hurdle to make it work at no additional charges to me. They were so patient and fun! I wish EVERY STORE had employees like these ladies! From the manager down, it was a team effort. They took care of my mistakes in about 10 minutes! WOW!
