Be careful, they will change your appointment without your permission and then when you take off from work to show up at your appointment they tell you that you have the wrong date. Good thing I still had my appointment card with me to show them that they screwed up. And the receptionist was completely USELESS! Find a different eye doctor. Someone that cares about their patients.

I'll start by saying this is the BEST eye doctor I have had in my lifetime! Courteous and kind. Something lacking a lot these days. This being Yelp and all, I'm sure there are a couple of folks that just can't handle their kindness and judgement. But I'm willing to bet 99 out of 100 folks would love the service they receive here. And their prices are fair. Being a working musician ... that's big for me. Front the front desk to the examination room ... this place is top notch.

We have been going here for over 5 years and are consistently happy with the services provided. My family of 4 get our annual exams and glasses from spectrum vision! Dr. Aguilera does wonderful with examining both of my children and takes her time to understand the needs of my family. I appreciate her and all of her outstanding staff!

Got my elderly wheelchair-bound mother-in-law transported here from her assisted living. Power went out mid-visit, rescheduled for following week and had to arrange transport and get off work ourselves to be there again. An hour before the rescheduled appointment, the office texted and said we had to be there an hour early or they would cancel. Tried to call but no one would answer the phone, only texts. That visit was canceled by the office. We have repeatedly tried to get someone on the phone there to reschedule yet again with no response to messages and no one answering phones. We actually DROVE to the office to try to get this rescheduled and was met by a NASTY lady who made excuse after excuse for why they weren't picking up phones or calling back. Then, she told me she couldn't make an appointment for us to finish up my mother-in-law's interrupted visit for another 6 MONTHS! Everyone in that office is completely rude and unprofessional.

Spectrum vision is exceptional place to get your eyeglasses and exams. The staff and the doctor are extremely knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend this place to anyone and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Update: This review was originally five stars but I have decided to lower it to three.I have gone to this eye doctor for several years and always found the experience enjoyable. Doctor Agulara is great at what she does and always professional. However, she and the office are unwilling to measure or provide your pupillary distance if you aren’t purchasing glasses from them, even though they have the equipment to do so in the office. As someone who purchases glasses online, this is a frustrating tactic employed by optometrists and physical glasses retailers to pressure you into purchase more expensive glasses from them.It is disappointing to see Doctor Agulara participate in this predatory practice, as she is an otherwise great optometrist. However, the treatment I received while requesting this information was frustrating, and has led to me finding another optometrist. (One who offered to provide my pupillary distance as part of the exam despite knowing I planned to purchase glasses online, for the record.)

Initially I was happy with the services provided, but afterwards I begin to realize that the glasses provided were sub-standard, and the advice I was given about contacts was very poor.To be fair the doctor seems well trained and knowledgable, but I now realize the glasses provided were very poor quality even though I stressed I wanted the highest quality lenses available. What’s more, I was very keen to be fitted with contact lenses, and that did not work out at all. After about a year, the lenses of my glasses had very fine scratches throughout both lenses. I am meticulous about caring for glasses and my previous pair which are now over 6 years old have no scratching at all, so I have now gone back to using the old ones since the new ones provided by Spectrum are useless now.As for contact lenses, I wanted to get them but was squeamish about inserting and removing them. Even after the doctor instructed me how to do it, I could not do it on my own even though she left me in a vacant examination room for almost an hour to “practice”She finally inserted them for me and said to wear them for 24 hours to see how they felt. For that period of time, my right eye was very uncomfortable and not in focus. When I returned the next day, she removed them only to find that I had TWO lenses in my right eye!She wasn’t sure how that happened. Perhaps I had actually fitted one on my own in the exam room and didn’t realize it. The point that SHE should have realized that when she inserted the pair for me afterwards, but did not! This experience, along with my inability to place and remove them on my own just soured me about contacts, and she advised that some people were just not good candidates for contact lenses, which I accepted. Now, a couple of years later, I have visited another optometrist for a new pair of glasses, and I again inquired about contacts. The new optometrist was quickly able to help me get over my squeamishness in fitting the contacts and so I now happily wear contacts with no issues at all!I don’t like writing negative feedback, but I just think it is warranted in this case.

Dr. Aguilera has been taking care of my entire family’s vision needs for many years. She is very thorough and professional as is her staff. In July of 2021 they went “Above and Beyond”. My 88 yr old dad was having difficulty seeing 6 months following cataract surgery. After seeing Dr. Aguilera, she sent dad back to the cataract doctor as scar tissue had formed on one eye. At the cataract doctor’s office, my dad’s glasses were misplaced, somewhere between the exam and waiting room while his eyes were dilated. When we checked before leaving, the staff could not find them. For 3 weeks I called the cataract surgeon’s staff and no glasses were ever found. Keep in mind this is an 88 year old man who can’t see without them! So we called Dr. Aguilera’s office who originally filled the eyeglass perscription, and they were right on it! They called the cataract surgeon’s office trying to get them to help cover the glasses. When they were unsuccessful, Dr. Aguilera’s office ordered my dad new glasses, and paid what the guarantee would not cover and shipped them to my dad’s assisted living apartment! It wasn’t even their fault and they went above and beyond to make someone else’s wrong right!!! We are so grateful!!!

So helpful and friendly. No one in Florida could me when I lost a contact but Teresa was informational and patient. My vacation would have been ruined without these wonderful people. This facility was also open the day after Fourth of July. I would say they are dedicated and sincerely care about their patients and customers. Highly recommend to all!!!!

I came to Spectrum Vision after being referred here by a friend and I was not disappointed. The optometrist I saw was very helpful and made sure that the contacts I was given were comfortable. They were very helpful with all of my questions that I had and were super informative! I definitely would recommend this office!
