The Key Training Center is a thrift store supporting an organization whose mission is to assist persons with developmental disabilities achieve their potential through services that promote growth, choice, and independence. Reviews note it is considered by some to be the best used store in Citrus County, where you definitely cannot beat some of the stuff you can find. However, others feel the selection is sadly nowhere near what it used to be and that prices often make little sense, especially when compared to other thrift stores. Customer service experiences vary, with some describing usually very friendly service, while others have encountered staff that seemed rude or mad. A specific concern was raised about a steep delivery fee for a short distance. The store relies on donations, and many believe everyone working there is a volunteer. The supporting organization operates with a vision that all people with developmental disabilities should enjoy opportunities to share in every aspect of community life.
The store is way overpriced on most items. The $1.00 clothes might be about the only bargain you may find here.

Lots of stuff. Furniture, lamp, sporting goods room. You have to dig through Crafts, floral, etc.

The place was typical of a low quality thrift store. Seemed kind of in disarray and dirty. The items for sale, in my opinion, very over priced. I wouldn’t go back.
