Got an alignment after installing lift. Alignment was redone twice because it was bad and finally got it decent but tires were leaning outwards. Two weeks of driving and tires are absolutely done and about to blow out. Will not be going there again. Now I have to spend a fortune on new tires and pay for a good alignment somewhere else. Edit: forgot to mention 3 lugs dropped off my front right while going 6mph like a week after the alignment. Very dangerous and very disappointed.

Today Richie’s garage replaced a cracked motor mount on my truck. They called me to ask about changing out the stoplight switch which has gone bad.That’s one of the great things about Richie’s Garage. If they encounter a problem, they will call you 1st about it. Not try to pad the estimate like other garages had done.And Richie’s treats everyone equally. I had been charged more, and charged for service that wasn’t done because of me being a woman. I had been talked down to, patronized. It was maddening!Another plus is the waiting room looks like home. With coffee, etc., available. And the nicest, friendliest dogs you could ever meet.Richie’s Garage is a blessing to single women like me. I’ve been taking my truck to them for years. From oil change on up, and I’ll keep taking “Big Red” to them.Wish I could give them 100 stars!

The most dishonest place ever. If I could give no stars I would. So I called to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get my timing done, it was due so I thought. I was quoted over a thousand dollars.for labor. There was a confusion on parts weather my car had chain or belt so they were not exactly sure on parts cost. They were calling dealership to find out and they would call me back. While waitng for the call i got online an searched the websites of auto part stores and amazon to get an idea of about how much the parts would cost either way it went. I got a call back the price went up another thousand and I would have to make an appointment a month away to get the car done. I knew the parts cost was exorbitant based on my research. So i trusted nothing that was said. I called the three closest dealerships, the dealership in browerd I used when the car was under warranty, and my auto shop I used in broward. Now when i called my old mechanic he told me that for both parts and lobor it would be $900. So here is a question how is the price of both parts and labor in a auto shop in broward county more than 300 dollars cheaper than the labor cost of shop located in a county that has a cost of living that is about half what broward county is? Here is the worst part, my old mechanic pulled up my account and told me I do not have a belt, I have a chain, and it does not get replaced. It is designed to last the lifetime of the car and when it does brake it is time to get a new car. This was confirmed by all four dealersips. So i guess their plan was for me to make the appointment. When i showed up take the car do nothing with it or do something with it to screw up the car some more. Then collect the money at the end of day. I am not the airhead I played one on the phone. I told you that I was new to the area, but I am not new to life. It isn't about the money. If my car really needed the replacement I would have found the money and paid for the service. The fact that I was lied to about my car having a belt and the shop was going to allow me to do a service on my car that could take a good running car to junk speaks volumes about the people running the shop. Their dad that started and ran the shop may have been honest, but it is clear that the children are not.
