“It’s literal heaven on earth. The sister locations and connectivity to them make it feel like you’re staying at multiple resorts that stretch along the keys for miles. The shuttle service makes it even better as you don’t have to worry about driving. The resorts are incredible. Breathtaking views. Amazing staff. The food is to die for. I can not recommend it enough.”
“This place is pure magic - stunning old Florida homes on a uniquely happy and joyful multi-family multi-generation property. This experience was perfect for our quiet honeymoon. The stars are brighter - the air and water and fresh stars and the communication was stellar”
“The property is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location is also very convenient and makes it easy to explore the area.
One thing to consider if you're traveling with pets is the pet fee. I found the nightly pet fee quite expensive, especially since many hotels charge a one-time fee rather than a fee per night. The designated pet relief area is located near the hotel entrance, and there are no additional grassy areas throughout the property. In fact, the dog park itself is mostly sand. This means you'll need to walk all the way to the front entrance each time your pet needs a break. If you're bringing a pet, I would recommend choosing the Almost Inclusive package, as it helps offset those additional costs and makes the overall value more reasonable.
Although the hotel is waterfront, it does not have a traditional beach. There is only a small access point to the water, which may be different from what some guests expect.
As for the food, the casual options such as nachos, tacos, and chicken fingers were very good. However, I found the main dinner entrées overpriced for the portion sizes. The steak, in particular, was quite small and cost over $40. During one dinner at Drift, our server forgot to place my 5-year-old daughter's meal order and later told us that we had never ordered anything for her. She also forgot my drink. What made this more surprising was that the restaurant only had a handful of occupied tables at the time.
The biggest area for improvement, in my opinion, is customer service. Most staff members were polite but not particularly warm or welcoming. Simple things like smiling or greeting guests seemed to be missing. The gate attendant wasn't even aware that the property had a dog park, despite it being located very close to his station. The employee at Cocco Loba was also rather indifferent and appeared to be simply going through the motions. On the other hand, the bartender at the beach bar was outstanding friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful.
Overall, this is a beautiful property, and I would gladly return. Now that I know what to expect from the dining experience for a special dinner, I would simply explore the many excellent restaurants nearby. Despite a few shortcomings, the hotel itself is lovely and offers a relaxing stay in a great location.”
