Brought our King Charles Cavalier in because she seemed to be in pain, something just seemed "off," and honestly I felt a bit like a crazy dog mom. They got us in within an hour of my call! Entire staff was very compassionate and nice. Turns out our baby has painful hip dysplasia, which isn't at all what I was expecting. Dr. Kempf was so kind and compassionate with us, carefully went over X-rays and diagnosis, and made sure we had a treatment plan including referral to orthopedics when we left. Thanks to her care our pup is clearly feeling better, even though I'm still nervous about things long term, and not sure what next steps will be. So thankful to this wonderful team for their compassion and patience. They were so kind to my dog! (And have been kind enough to answer my follow up questions). Were also incredible in helping our Great Pyrenees when she developed seizures and she's now been seizure-free for months. They are affordable and fair and their documentation has been solid for our pet insurance claims as well. Trust these guys with your fur babies!

Our first visit and we fell in love. This clinic is so friendly. Bandit usually shakes and is determined to go for the door, but not so much here. Our provider was very thorough explaining everything she saw and treatment possibilities. I am so very thankful we came here. The best experience ever!

Yesterday was my first time at this vet and I honestly could not have had a better experience. The staff was amazing from the moment I walked in, until I paid. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Kempf and she had to be the only vet I have ever came in contact with (mind you I have lived throughout Florida) that didn't push unnecessary testing. I truly was amazed all around by the care that was given plus the bill was a bonus to see it wasn't outrageous. Moving my new puppy to their care immediately! Highly recommend.

Friendly, compassionate and caring. Three things I would ask of my vet and three things I found in abundance here. My dog has me a spill and I wanted her to be checked out, so it was a non specific issue. They checked her out thoroughly, kept it pandemic friendly and it was easy on the wallet. Big fan.

This clinic is amazing. I am 67 years old and have had many dogs and cats. I have been taking my pets there for 50 years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

It saddens me to give a 1 star review. We have been taking our dog here for 6 years for routine check ups and boarding. We scheduled our pup for boarding from a Friday to Monday. On pickup day, I called the front to let them know I was there. I was told my dog had some issues with vomiting and he was given an injection but the tech would let me know more when they brought him out. I was confused because no one called to let me know he wasn't feeling well. When they brought my dog out, I was shocked. He could barely walk and was so weak. To me this seemed like a medical emergency since my dog is usually wild at the kennel, especially pick up day. I scooped him up and waited to be seen. I tried to piece together a timeline of events but what was evident was the lack of communication to the owner. A few more hours and they would of had to make a call letting me know my dog had passed. My dog was in Addison Disease crisis (new diagnosis) and so thankful for the care he received at the ED he survived. My issue isn't with the diagnosis but 1) with the fact that it was never communicated to me on Sunday evening when they noticed him not feeling well 2) intervened on Monday morning with an injection and clearly didn't monitor how he was doing and 3) brought him out in the state he was in. This was my biggest fear with boarding my dog but thought I was doing it right by boarding with my vet. I have also let them know my feelings of disappointment and pray whatever protocols were in place have changed. My hopes is this doesn't happen again.

I've been taking both my pups to Beaches since we moved to Florida. The staff there is so nice and Dr. Ramirez is so patient and kind. I love that they send you home with a picture during their first visit. Prices have always been clear and reasonable. What I love most is they have always accommodated last minute visits usually day of, or if not, within a day. When my dogs don't feel good I want to get them in fast, and I like not having to wait a week to be seen.

I’ve been with Beaches Animal Clinic since the year 2000 and they are absolutely the best!! I’ve had 4 dachshunds taken care of by the veterinarians and staff there and they have taken excellent care of all of them.

Always have had a positive experience with this clinic, but took our Viszla in for an "end of life assessment. After a very brief assessment by one of their vets, was called and told that "he's kinda of a wreck" and they could euthanize him that day. I had no issue with the clinical assessment but the conversation was rather blunt and casual at the same time. I recognize vets deal with having to initiate and perform the procedure but a little warmth and compassion not just for the pet but for the family members as well would seem appropriate. Palliative care for our beloved pets as well as for humans should include making the them both comfortable and secure.

This is the best veterinary clinic in Jacksonville. We are so Fortunate to have this type of clinic for pets here at the Beaches. I rushed my 11 year old cat Whiskey with a severe urine blockage at 7 am to Beaches Animal Clinic. They came out to the car and immediately took him in to check him out. Dr. Daniel and his wonderful staff saved his life. Everyone there is so friendly and compassionate. Dr. Daniel called me first thing every morning to give me an update. Whiskey is home now after 3 days in the hospital. He acts like a kitten now that he is all well. I have lived at the beach for 50 years and have always taken my fur babies there. I wouldn't trust their health to any other Vet Clinic.
