The general manager was very helpful. He called around to other Leslie stores to help me find an above ground pump which are normally ordered online. Unfortunately I was having company. I did not have time for online shopping. I wanted a pump before my company came and it was not going to happen. Unfortunately most pool stores do not service above ground pools which is unfortunate

We will not be shopping here again. We went in to buy some general pool floats which were “discounted” 20%. However, upon receiving the receipt, we noticed that the floats rang up at a price that was different than what was advertised. The advertised retail price (on the sticker) was $29.99 and they rang up as $34.99. I went back in because the receipt states that if “the price rings up different than what is shown, you may return to the store to receive a refund within 30 days.” Upon re-entering the store, we noticed that the sign on the floats had been removed completely after our transaction. The “general manager” Raymond said that the sign shows the price after discount. Which still wasn’t true because $34.99 x 80% is $27.99. Based on the advertised price of $29.99, we should have paid $23.99 after the discount. Raymond then immediately said “If you aren’t happy with the price, bring them back in here and I will issue a refund and sell them to another customer who will pay more.” My wife went to grab the floats and I stood silently while the refund was processed (which took forever by the way). Raymond could not let it go and kept elevating the situation while I was quiet by being extremely vocal and trying to explain that he was right. At this point, I felt I had to speak up and defend myself by saying that I am an accountant and I know how these numbers work. To which Raymond replied “then I’m surprised you didn’t see that the discount was applied to $34.99.” Which still made no sense because that wasn’t the advertised price and I didn’t see that until receiving the receipt which was the whole reason we went back in. At this point, he continued to elevate the situation by yelling at my wife and I as opposed to processing our refund to get us out of the store. We told him you don’t have to worry about seeing us again to which he replied “I’m glad.” I asked the other store clerks if any of them were a manager and could hear how Raymond was speaking to us to which Raymond YELLED “I AM THE GENERAL MANAGER.” At this point, I had to remove myself from the situation and let my wife handle the rest of the refund. Upon her leaving, Raymond said “Are you sure I’ll never have to see you again?” That is the first and last time we will ever shop at Leslies. I hope this review helps someone make the same decision.

Mark was incredibly helpful today in diagnosing the issue with our pool and providing directions on how to get it straightened out. Super pleased with his attention to detail and care. Can highly recommend this location.

Service isn't their big priority. Called service department and they said someone should get a hold of me "soon". Says they can't pull calendar to schedule. Have my heater for a couple months and it doesn't work, and no help from service. Store pushed me off to 1800 number that offered nothing.

Excellent customer service with folks who know what they are doing! Helped to quickly deliver a filter part overnight from another site, had us up and running again in a flash at a very reasonable price! Highly recommend, very professional! :-)))

Let me start with, their customer service is lacking. I ordered a pool vacuum last week. I was told it would be here yesterday (Tuesday). I called that morning and was given the run around and told that it was on the truck, but it needed to be unloaded. I called back at 3:20 and some man acted like he didn't have time for me. He said there's 3 pallets and I am seeing customers. He took my number and said he would call me back. 3 hrs later and 30 mins before they close I called back. He said he didn't see it and that he still had stuff to unpack. Fast forward to this morning. I called at 930 and was told it didn't come in on the truck. She just told me yesterday morning it was on the truck. I was very upset because my pool needs to be vacuumed and I was told it would be there. All I got was sorry, you never know about these things. I said well that's b.s. and she said I didn't need to be that way. You just lied about my shipment. Something I have been waiting for. I even asked her if there was someone she could call and still got no where. Now I will have to wait another week and a half to get my pool vacuum. I did ask for a refund and they were happy to give it. I will never stop there again. I should have shopped with Amazon. This is why I do not shop some small businesses. Don't lie and tell me its there. PS, while I was there the 1st time to purchase, the sales woman was on the phone with a customer and telling them all the stuff they needed, then said, o we don't have it in stock, we will have it in a week. Guess everything is a week. NOT...

Ray at Leslie pools 3rd street should not interact with any customer and should be in designated to digging holes for pools when the back hoe breaks down.I purchased a pool pump over the phone on Tuesday - being told installation can be done that week. Thursday I called and spoke to Ray. Since my email address was not correct they could not schedule an install date - (yeah right). I was to call on monday for a new install date. Monday I call (2pm) for an install date I was told to call back on Tuesday.My pool is green and I cannot vacuum the pool.I did not have any confidence that Ray was telling me the truth - at which point he hung up on me. He calls me back and says I have to go in with my credit card to cancel the order - will do.

I was there this week...was having a lot of trouble with green algae in my pool. I took a water sample up and the store manager knew exactly how to solve the problem. I followed his exact instructions and now my pool is better than ever. He was so helpful and knowledgeable! I can't enough good things about the service at Leslie's in Jacksonville Beach!
