Do not use for oil change. Try to upsell you everything. What was dropped off for 100 oil change turned into a 2200+ estimate for multiple others services including $90 for replacement window wipers. $90!!!! The exact wipers on Amazon were $20.

From the moment I walked into Meineke Car Care Center in Jacksonville Beach, I could sense that I was in for a top-tier experience. The atmosphere was immediately welcoming, and the waiting room exuded a warmth that made the short wait there rather comfortable. Far from the cold, sterile environments of other service centers, this waiting area felt more akin to a cozy lounge, ensuring clients felt relaxed while their vehicles were attended to.Now, as we all know, ambiance is one thing, but it's the service that truly matters. This is where Meineke truly shone. I was fortunate enough to be assisted by an agent named J, whose dedication to great customer service was evident from the get-go. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and displayed an earnest desire to ensure that my needs were met and my concerns addressed. It's rare to encounter such genuine customer care these days, and J's professionalism stood out as a beacon of what one should expect.Beyond the impeccable customer service, what truly impressed me was the fairness in pricing. Owning a high-end vehicle, I'm no stranger to inflated service bills, but at Meineke, the costs were transparent and reasonable. There were no hidden charges or unnecessary add-ons, just honest work for an honest price. But cost-effectiveness does not mean a compromise on quality. My vehicle received top-notch care, ensuring it ran smoother than ever before. The technicians showcased an acute understanding of high-end vehicles and treated mine with the respect and expertise it deserved. In conclusion, if you're in Jacksonville Beach and in need of car service, make a beeline for Meineke Car Care Center. Between their inviting environment, standout customer service, particularly from J, fair pricing, and unparalleled service quality for luxury vehicles, they're truly in a league of their own.

I don't know how simply getting some new brakes and rotors could be such an awful experience.I had been in and out of this place FIVE TIMES and my car was worse than when I took it in. The first trip was to get my front brakes and rotors done. When the vehicle was returned to me it was suddenly making a noise that it had never made before. I took it back and questioned them about the noise. Without even hearing the noise or truly checking the vehicle the diagnosis was brake clips which were supposedly rotted out. Why wasn't that addressed on the first visit then? On the third visit I took it in to get these "brake clips" replaced and back brakes and rotors done. When I pick it up and drive it home I notice these brand new brakes are whistling and the clicking/shifting sound that was never there before is possibly worse now. I take it back AGAIN and have the guy drive it with us in the vehicle so we can show him exactly what's going on. He heard both the clicking noise and the brakes still squealing after having both sets done. When we get back to the shop we ask the guy who's going to be working on it if he can fix a headlight that was out. "No problem," he assured us. When the vehicle was done being assessed he gave it back to us still with a broken headlight and a claim that this clicking sound is actually a serious issue involving the axle. We've had this Honda Pilot for six months and never an issue beyond needing new brakes. After spending $1000 Meineke gave us back a damaged vehicle and told us we'd have to pay yet another $700 to repair what they broke. Finally, after the fifth time taking it in, they fixed the front brakes that they had originally messed up and the clicking sound went away. I assume they put them on backwards or something but we'll never know the truth. They were going to charge me $700 for an incorrect diagnosis from something they originally screwed up. Anyway, the brakes STILL squeak. $1000 later and I still have squeaky brakes. Toward the end we were met with complete rudeness, one of the employees going as far as raising his voice at the owner of the vehicle and hanging up on him. Sorry but after spending $1000 I do expect to be prioritized and I surely expect the work I paid for to be done properly. Most incompetent mechanics I've ever been to. Do not take your vehicle to Meineke.

Took my 2013 Mini in for std oil change. The mechanic indicated we needed a new oil pan gasket. The cost quoted was approximately $700. Took to the mini dealer to get a second opinion. Mini dealer said needed repair was just the oil pan nut was missing the O-ring washer. Mini also indicated that the oil filter did not appear to be changed at the Meineke oil service. Everything now works perfect and no oil leaks. Be careful. UPDATE: Mini Dealer cost for oil pan nut O-ring $0 (said should have been part of any oil change service review). Just had to pay Mini dealer for another oil change with an new oil filter, $99.

One of those annoyingly, vague "maintenance required" warnings caused me to stop in to Meineke, a place my wife has often trusted for her oil changes. The gentleman managing the store, Jaylin, was really great.Going above and beyond the call of service. He checked out my car told me my oil was actually still OK, and reset the light. He could've been dishonest and made an extra oil change. Instead, he earned a customer for life. I can't wait to take the car back in for service and to make these four stars a five star rating.PS, one of the giveaways to a better service shop is a clean and tidy work area. This place is better than many.

Have used Meineke for two separate services and am overall extremely impressed with the experience. The communication was superb and I was given the option to approve or decline all services before being charged/the services were completed. Justin and his son in particular were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Will continue to use Meineke and recommend them to friends and family.Services: Tires

I went to 4 different tire shops looking for a tire to match the set I have on my Ford Flex. I guess it’s not a “normal size tire”. Called Meineke at the Jax Bch location at 10 am. The tire was ordered that day, my car was ready for pick up by 4:00. Going back next weekend for a fix on an upside down back up camera.Service: Tires

This is the only place I’ll bring my vehicles! It’s refreshing to be able to confidently drop off my car in and know I’m getting quality service and can trust I’m not being taken advantage of. Terry, Justin and the whole team go above and beyond! 10/10 would recommend!

The cost of the repairs was higher than necessary. The hours allocated in the computer should be a estimate number. The actual time should be the charged amount. I felt I was over charged over $200. The quote was 5.5 hours and the job took 3 hours. The charge per hour was $135/hr. The person that worked on my car was very good. The rest of the staff need tracking for productivity. There is some very good employees there. The manager needs some coaching to watch his language as it will offend others and customers. The garage needs some cleanliness attention.

I had a really great experience when I first went to this location in October of 2022, unfortunately I didn't have the same experience this time around. I scheduled an oil change appointment online for 3:30, it took around two hours for my oil change to be completed. I get it, things get backed up and can sometimes take longer than expected. However, while I was waiting I went to the restroom and I put the toilet seat down and it was completely covered in dried urine! Thankfully there was a Clorox spray in the bathroom that I was able to use to clean the toilet seat myself, but it was extremely disgusting to have to do that. Also, when my car was finally done, the tech said "the only thing we recommend for your car is windshield wipers" I then asked, "Oh, so the breaks looked ok to you?" to which he responded..."oh...we didn't look at the breaks"...He then took a flashlight out to my car in the parking lot and "checked" my breaks and informed me that yes, they probably needed to be taken care of before my next oil change...really?! When I paid I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that even with a coupon, the rate for the oil change on my car had gone up since just being there in October. I get it, things go up in price...but my $5.60 " total fee" in October was now $10.70 in July and my $69.95 oil change in October was now $75.65 in July. So I paid almost $11 more than the last time I visited, for a way worse experience. The final nail in the coffin so to speak for me was when I got in my car, it appeared as though the tech that drove my car around must have been covered in motor oil because my arm rest and steering wheel were both completely covered in oil. Thankfully I noticed it before leaning against it in my clothes and I was able to clean it up with car cleaning wipes, but it was really, really unprofessional to leave a clients car like that. I thought I'd found a really reliable place to bring my car to for an oil change, but I guess the search continues.
