Kerman Village location on Atlantic blvd.I informed the cashier the ferrets were desperately scratching and going crazy for water. Alexandra comes by and said they do that. She only gives them water in the morning because they make a mess. I told her I have never heard of that. She responded in a nasty attitude and tone like she wanted to fight. She said like what, like what? I called corporate immediately.I have cats that make a mess with water so does that mean I don't give but a few licks of water in the morning?Very unprofessional Alexandra! Do your job and provide water to the animals before they get sick.Called marsh landing to see if anyone cared.to.speak to the other store,but I was kept on hold.

READ MY REVIEW AND THE REVIEWS FROM WANDA S. AND HALEY C. BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT HERE TO HAVE YOUR DOG GROOMED!!!! I took my dog for grooming, the person checking her in showed me a chart of hair length to choose from and offered a De-Furminator package to help remove loose hairs and undercoat. I chose the shortest length without shaving her and agreed to the De-Furmination. My cell rang when I pulled into my driveway and it was assistant store manager Mikhala in for Andrew who is the store manager but out for weeks having surgery. Mikhala told me they couldn't cut my dog as short as I wanted because she is a double coated dog and they just don't do that because it causes the dog not to heat or cool its body correctly. This is a 7 year old dog that is groomed all the time and not one groomer has ever said that or not cut her hair. I questioned the decision vigorously but agreed to just have her washed, De-Furminated and her nails trimmed. I then received a call 15 minutes later saying they decided my dog wasn't a fit for THEM and to come pick her up! Mikhala accused me of hanging up on her but when I got loud asking why she hung up on me TWICE. When it is time to knock off for the day they pick and choose who they want to groom and the customer is most definitely not right. I have called corporate and lodged a complaint, most specifically against Mikhala who should not be managing anyone. Andrew will also be hearing from me when he gets back from surgery. Stay away from this store.

Piss poor service at this Ponte Vedra location!!! Took our almost blind 8 lb schnauzer for the 3rd time to be groome... an hour after dropping her off, get a card to come get her they say she was aggressive and tried to bite several time.... a bunch of BS she's never been aggressive! tryi to add a picture poor thing is hideous!

I am from out of town visiting and needed a last minute grooming appointment- very easy to make an appointment and Stephanie was awesome! my pups a little scared going into new places and she took the time to sit down and let her sniff her and made her feel comfy before I left. she came back looking great as well! highly recommend Stephanie for grooming. but all of the staff I came into interaction with were very friendly!

This is literally the worst Petco in Jacksonville. First of all when I walked up to the register there was nobody there until two minutes later when he noticed I was standing there. I guess he was the manager because he said it was "his store"...I came in to return three bags of snake bedding that were unopened without a receipt for store credit (which Petco policy they usually do return things for store credit if you don't have a receipt in order to make the customer happy because they have 100% guarantee). He refused to make the return for me. Not only is this terrible customer service but the animal enclosures always look terrible and the animals always look unhappy and sick. It's not even a large animal department and they still aren't able to keep up with the maintenance. Never going back here.

Absolutely garbage customer service. I was told I cancelled my appointment via text and I looked back at my text history and was able to tell that that wasn't true, after expressing that the lady in the grooming department and showing her on my phone. She refused to groom one of my dogs due to its age. Called corporate and nothing was done, peace!

Skip it if you value your time and money. Terribly disorganized and unprofessional. Went in for 2 dog baths and hair cuts. Asked a few questions about what the price included. Groomer lady got very upset I was asking questions. Got her manager because she couldn't handle basic questions like "is nail trimming included?" Manager tells me the kennels were broken and they had to cancel. So why didn't they cancel earlier in the day when they knew there was an issue instead of making me drive 30 minutes with upset dogs. Never again. Rude and scary groomer and a manager who clearly doesn't want to be there! Groomer & manager acted like drinking buddies who just wanted to get outta there. Skip it.

This location has an awesome pet groomer. First time here was a very positive experience. She was very friendly and didn't an excellent job. Thanks Petco Marsh Landing.

Do not use these groomers. They only care about business, not your pets. Used to be a good place, but now they’re corporate and as they told me, they answer to corporate not their clients. ?

I took my dog into the grooming saloon to have my dog shaved down. They asked to shave the ears. I informed it was ok. When I got my dog back from the groomers the ears were both clipped and bleeding. I thought it would heal but it didn't I called Petco and informed them. They told me to take the dog to my vet, which I did. There is a discrepancy between my vet and Petco. Petco doesn't take any responsibility for their actions in clipping both ears of my dog and refuses to pay for any portion of the vet bill which was over $300. I guess I will be looking for a new grooming saloon to do my dog from now on. I was told to call Corporate to see if they would they will fix it which denied to pay anything. I'm filling a complaint with Better Business Bureau.

Worst customer service and grooming services I've ever experienced. Thankfully my dog does not have a coat that needs trimming as I'm afraid of what else could go wrong. While I believe that everyone can have a bad day and should be given a 2nd chance, this was my 3rd bad experience.I will not utilize the groomers or shop here. Petsmart is just as close.

Love Petco, always have great sale items and their Whole Hearted food is great! Hadn't been for grooming (nail trim) there before but this was my kitty within a few minutes of getting home. Completely content because they got us in and out quick plus could shop for some post-groom treats while waiting. Thanks Cassandra & Michelle!
