I discovered Carol a few years ago and I love her incredible attention to detail when it comes to cutting, her understanding of color and ability to transform my hair to a masterpiece every time. She is by far the best hairdresser I have ever had - she rocks hair !!!! She is also an amazing person to spend time with.

The Best Hair Color Specialist! - I’ve lived in New York and California and seen some of the best stylists, but no one gets my color like Alice at Suede Salon in Jacksonville. She has a gift for achieving the perfect shade every time! Plus, she does my color, cut, and blow-dry in under 2.5 hours—unheard of compared to my past experiences, where I’d spend 5+ hours in a chair. On top of that her pricing is the best I’ve ever had for such high quality work. I now happily drive from Miami to Jacksonville just to see her. Worth every mile for her expertise and efficiency! Highly recommend!

I had been growing out my grey hair for several months and had been struggling to have the grey blended into the old brown color in a natural way. Thankfully I found Carol King at Suede Salon. After only 2 sessions of her carefully selecting highlights and lowlights, and then toning my hair, she achieved perfect grey blending. She is an exceptional hair stylist and is very meticulous, which I appreciate so much.

I have been in Jacksonville for three years and I've tried three other stylist, but I am so pleased with Alana. I'm going to stick with her. I have about half of my head is gray with brown and gold. She made my hair look fantastic. She was able to weave the gray and the blonde and the brown so I looked at at least 10 years younger, if you're in that spot, you don't know whether you wanna keep going gray give her a call and she does magic.

Wow! I was desperate to find a great hair stylist who would cut my hair after not having it cut since Covid (4 years) and I found her. Carol King of Suede at the beach worked her magic on me and gave me the best cut and style! I love it and I won’t go anywhere else now! Thank you Carol!

I could not be happier with the services Alaina provided to me. The cut is perfection, the product used felt natural (not greasy or thick), Alaina’s scalp massage during the shampoo was the thing of dreams and she held great conversation while she worked. She also taught me simple ways to style it for an on-the-go mom. The best!

After moving here, I tried 3 different places before I found Alice at Suede Salon. She came highly recommended by a friend. I'm so glad I found her! She's cut and styled my hair 4 or 5 times. I have naturally thick, curly hair with a lot of cowlicks and Alice has my quirky hair under control?.

They were very accommodating on taking in my mom short notice. (Same day.) I wanted to treat her to a professional hair-do for her birthday. (She hadn't done for over 20 years.) Alaina did an amazing job. My mom keeps raving about how much she loves her hair. It's exactly as she wants it. Alaina was very detail oriented and accommodating and personable. Thanks, Alaina!
