My wife and son went into the EMPTY branch at 3:40 PM on a Wednesday to open a juvenile account and they were sent packing because it was "too close to closing". I called to follow up and got attitude.

Wouldn't be bothered to verify funds on a check written by a mortgage company. They don't want to spend the 3 minutes it would have taken so that their customer could pay her bills. We verified funds before even leaving the house, but WF won't. Now an 83 year old widow 10 days out of major shoulder surgery has to schedule a driver to get back days later to get a cashiers check to prevent a lien. All would have been avoided by a simple phone call. This was a directive from management, not just a teller. Take your business elsewhere. Credit unions want your business, not here

The staff go out of their to help. There's usually a wait for one of the personal bankers but the teller line moves quickly. Coffee offered and there's plenty of seating if you have a wait. Excellent bathrooms if you have babies/kids and room to change diapers, etc..

Conveniently located at the beach near JTB and close to our condo. This is a solid WF branch. The staff is always friendly. Your choice of banking, ATM, drive thru or walk inside for full service. I was in need of notary service and kind of in a hurry on a Friday. I stood at the counter for about 1 minute before being waited on. The nice lady at the counter confirmed they could do it but there was one person ahead of me. Fast, friendly and efficient. I'd like to remove 1/2 star due to my dislike for the constant effort to up sell you on some sort of product. Besides that I'm a happy WF customer.

I don't typically post reviews - good or bad - but this one has been sitting with me for a while and I feel as though a posting is in order. A couple of weeks ago, I went into this branch to deposit a check. It was mid afternoon in the middle of the week and there were no other customers than me. No customers at the desks with bankers, no customers in line for the tellers. Just me...waiting in line to be helped for a simple transaction. I stood at the teller counter for at least a minute - maybe even 2 - while 3 tellers behind the counter were laughing while sharing a video on a cell phone. No one looked up to tell me it would be a minute...no one looked up to say "may I help you"...no one looked up at all - even though I couldn't have been standing more than 5 feet from the group. I waited patiently assuming someone would offer to help....but they continued to hover around a cell phone watching a video - maybe of a dog riding a skateboard or the latest cat tricks...who knows...... It wasn't until I left the branch (- passing by the guy at his desk also riveted to his cell phone-) and got in my car that I was finally able to complete my transaction at the drive thru ATM. So - "thank you" - drive thru ATM for doing your job....(and please don't get your own cell phone)
