Great place to work if you like working for minimum wage and the little benefits they offer stripped away. A waste of my 3 years.

The Walt Disney Company is quick to react replacing failed leadership. Acosta retains and promotes leaders for the 6 time failed Foodservice Broker segment. Now run by Core which promotes leaders with no proven leadership capabilities. Charles Whitesell which managed for 30 years 8:1 and 4:1 Hot Dogs and never had any direct reports is now the leader of Chain accounts nationally with multiple direct reports and has no culinary background and will terminate you if you expose his weakness. He is vindictive and racist and terminates current and past proven sales stars which exposed his failed leadership management and pose a threat to his rapid growth with that company. Shame on Acosta to promote and retain such a failure of employee. Do not have your products represented by this company and watch your back if you currently employed and make a good salary and report to C. Whitesell. If you get terminated make sure you get all your compensation since Acosta is self-insured and the HR department sucks and farms everything out to 3rd party's which are clueless about your benefits and will give you the unlimited runabouts and runarounds.

I visited the Jacksonville office off Southpoint Parkway. The office manager at this location was a very rude older woman wearing glasses. She was extremely unhelpful and rude as I inquired about The Acosta Company. She told me to go to the company website and made me to feel extremely unwelcome. I would recommend you take your sales and marketing needs elsewhere and find a company that treats potential customers with decency and trains on customer service interactions.

Horrible work place .. Building Manager worries more about inner office politics rather than changing the light bulbs and making sure the bathrooms are cleaned. filed chapter 11 (seen this coming years in advance) with many employees not receiving raises for years , but all those white collars were sure stuffing their pockets .. corporate office is an absolute joke to work at .. do yourself a favor and skip this headache of a work place.

Terrible company! They do not treat their employees good.. Their employees take pictures and don’t do anything for your products. The pictures are a quick fix, moving some forward temporarily. They are useless I am warning you!!!!... Read More

If you're considering taking a position in the field with Acosta, BEWARE!Very low hourly pay, never a full 40 hr work week despite being classified as Full Time, no raises, bonuses, incentives, PPE reimbursement, hazard pay during pandemic or opportunities for advancement & very high premiums for benefits offered. They also "accidentally" placed me on a Leave of Absence during their Open Enrollment period, which rendered me unable to sign up for any of the insurance they were offering & left me without a paycheck for hours I'd already worked. It took nearly 3 weeks & A TON of back & forth emailing, calling & submitting documents on my own time to have it resolved and no one but my direct supervisor ever even apologized for the inconvenience, much less offered me a chance to sign up for benefits. They also have a habit of "fiddling" with your accrued PTO hours & "adjusting" or rounding your time after it's been submitted & it's nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone at corporate who's actually willing & able to be of any help with such issues. If you're actually trying to earn a living, I do NOT recommend accepting employment with this company. Their corporate employees & officers seem to do just fine working from the safety of their offices & homes while reaping the benefits & the income their field reps bring in for the company.

One star is too high. Have had the most terrible experience with this company. They really shouldn't even exist at this point. One of the most mismanaged and unethical corporations around.

Minus 1000 rating. Unprofessional upper management, both men and women. These female managers gossiped about their reports using terms to describe them such as "ugh" or "he or she is a nice person but ...... then added words that can't be written in this review. The employees near their offices heard it all - very poor soundproofing. The prior CMO, Ramin Eivaz, was two faced, pretending that he liked branch office employees when in reality he publicly "made fun of them". Can't forget to mention his "excuse of an Administrative Assistant", C. Connor. She gossiped right along with everyone especially over the phone with CT managers. There was no sound proofing in that office so many people heard their conversations on speaker phones. Hey Ramin get an updated profile picture. The current one has to be at least 20+ years old. Imagine a CMO telling a manager that he avoided several staff members because they said Good Morning or Goodnight too often? He would actually go around the front reception desk and sneak in so he wouldn't have to say hello to certain people. Pathetic excuse of a person. All managers rude, disrespectful and power hungry. Stay away from this company unless you want to be the brunt of their childish gossipy behavior.
