Not a huge selection but really good service and people. I wish I had taken them my generator for service a long time ago rather than wasting time on other places that let me down and charged a lot more

Loved visiting this Springfield gem! Made me feel very welcome, were kind & took care of me right away. I went in to copy a key & they key worked great. It’s wonderful to see family owned businesses in town that have this great quality service still around. I’ll be back for sure.

I went looking for a small part to fix my toilet that I didn't think I'd be able to find anywhere. The man greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and asked if I needed anything I showed him what I needed he walked straight to it and even gauged it to the broken part that I had. They were very friendly and knowledgeable I would definitely shop here whenever I need anything Hardware related. I was probably in and out in less than 5 minutes. Wide selection of items.

Wonderful hardware store on Main St. Very friendly and helpful staff. I needed a part that I didn't think I could easily locate. As soon as I entered the door I was greeted and asked if I needed help. He said right here. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Thanks guys for a great experience.

Maybe it's the antique pick up truck displayed on the property. Maybe it's the nostalgic feeling I get when I walk in. Maybe it's the primitive yet simple way of stocking items in cardboard boxes. Maybe it's the very real way I'm greeted as I come into the store. Maybe it's the personable and very welcoming demeanor of the couple who own it. To be quite clear it's all the above. To experience the hardware store is similar to entering your grandpa's garage or at least your uncle's. This is a no frills environment devoid of a menagerie of loud signs and wide aisles. The selections have been made for you by offering only a few brands of each collection of items. A sign that the buyer for the shop is astute in his knowledge of items he wants to recommend to you for your projects. I like this store a lot and I try to visit it even though I don't have much of a project going on. I recommend but not just this particular shop. Others like it for me have been a great place to get actual advice from personal experience and a smile followed by a joke if you're lucky enough to catch it. This is my neighborhood hardware store and the big box stores just aren't on the list anymore.
