For me it seemed like a cash grab to charge an annual fee because "all the other gyms do it". Not ALL the other gyms do it. When I did the free trial, all the unassisted free weight squat racks were taken, including the ones you pay extra for (in the HIIT room). I'm not paying a sign up fee, annual fee, and monthly fee to go to a gym where I'm charged extra (there is a second tier of pricing to use HIIT equipment) to wait in line for equipment.

Lady in the front desk had an attitude for no reason soon as me, my dad, and my friend walked in, I didn’t like that at all

Staff is fantastic, facility is clean, and they have a great selection of equipment and a great athletic training area. But only join if you enjoy working out around dozens of teens and college aged broccoli tops with bad gym etiquette. Nobody re-racks their weights or returns their equipment where they found it, half don’t wipe down equipment. In over 10 years of lifting, this location has the absolute worst and inconsiderate members I’ve ever had to share a gym with. It’s really just a place for Oakleaf kids to socialize more than a place for people to workout.

STAY AWAY FROM BAILEY'S!!! They are liars and will cheat you out of your money. I clearly asked to sign up for a 6 month membership and paid for a 6 month membership, and 6 months later Bailey's drafted my credit card for a monthly fee. Mike is the guy that sold me the membership and stood in my face and totally lied. He states that he told me that Bailey's did not offer a 6 month membership, but why in the world would I pay for something you do not offer?!?!. The girl at corp. told me Mike was the manager and he could fix the issue if he really wanted too, but she was very rude, however once I return to speak with Mike he states he is not a manager. So, they lie, cheat and I do plan to take legal actions. I hate even going in to that gym! The equipment is very nasty and doesn't appears to have been wiped down in months. I would rate the gym and the staff a zero if I could. A total disgrace.

I only went to check it out as my wife was looking to join a gym. Neither of us ever had membership anywhere. So we are new to this. Gym looks like it has a lot to offer other than the normal cardio and free weights. They have different areas for cycling classes, a large room for yoga or jazercise (or something like that) a basketball court. Yes a full bbal court indoors. They even had a message seat area a kids playroom, among other things. It seemed pretty clean, and they also had changing rooms. I'm not sure about showers and stuff. There was also an area where you can do tire lift, rope weights and other forms of getting your workout in. It was not very busy when we went on a Sunday late afternoon. The employee was helpful showing us around and explaining the process. If I had to join a gym, I would probably choose this place. Just a little pricy for me.

Came here since I’m looking for a new gym. I was greeted by very nice staff. They have a nice selection of prework out and drinks in their shop. The locker rooms were clean and spacious. They also have a sauna in the locker rooms which I enjoyed. The main floor is huge and has everything you need. Plenty of equipment for everyone. They also have an ab workout area, basketball court, massage area, cycling room, and studio room for group classes. They have many classes offered and virtual ones as well.

Staff is friendly and always willing and able to answer questions. The gym and equipment are very clean and well maintained. Locker rooms are also clean, and lockers are large enough to fit everything.

I signed up for a membership almost a year ago when I lived in the area. About 2 months later I moved back to my home state. I got a new number and barely got on my email since I started using a new one. One day I log in and see they are sending me to collections for unpaid gym balance when I haven’t gone to the gym since I got the memebership. I emailed them proof with dates I moved and everything but since I didn’t do it sooner. (Even with dates of my move, my new lease, my license, my car insurance) . They are charging me saying it’s too late and I have to pay over $500. This is ridiculous & even with my proof still want to charge me when I don’t even live in Jacksonville anymore. I don’t recommend going to this money hungry establishment, never stepping foot into a Bailey’s again. Especially if your just trying it out, they will hold you to that contract even with proof of relocation

From the corp office down to the management staff, will try and rip you off every chance they get. Beware they will sign you up on their contracts when you are told you are signing for something else. I spoke to Sean the GM, Mike the asst mgr and a lady at corporate and all three had different stories. They fumbled my billing and when I went in on their mishap told me to sign for authorization on the new card but they were getting me to sign another yearly contrac. I only found out because I am having to have surgery here shortly and needed to put membership on hold but they told me I couldn’t because I wasn’t on month to month because they secretly signed me up on another contract. How shady do you have to be just to hit your quota????

Love this location but PLEASE for the love of god turn down the heat in the sauna. Its way too hot, not even enjoyable. Compared to other locations you can't even sit for longer than 1 minute until you're uncomfortably burning.
