This is Serenity, she would have been "2" on the 22nd of January. I took my baby to Banfield Vet at 7947 Parramore Rd in Jacksonville, FL. She was having discharge from her eyes and she saw Barbara Case Shelton, Barbara was only interested in selling me pet insurance and extensive testing. I refused the insurance as I have a regular vet and I accepted the heart worm and fecal testing. Both test came back negative, but she noticed something orange in REN's stool. I explained to her a second time that I feed my dogs vegetables and that she had carrots with her dinner the previous night. She began to reprimand me about not being a nutritionist and how was I not sure that my dogs were getting the proper nutrients. I feed my dogs (Authority)a half cup in the morning and a half cup with either chicken or beef, veggies and rice in the evening. She never once address the issue with her eye's, she did say that she had a fever and when I asked how to reduce the fever she never told me how. She prescribed Amoxicillin 500mg for Serenity. When I gave her the Amoxicillin she began foaming at the mouth about 45 minutes after and then walked into the dinning room where she collapsed and began bleeding out of her mouth and died. I made a post about it and have had several people comment on how their pets passed away too after services from Banfield. Whatever you do don't go there!!! Wait, I wish now that I had waited and my baby would still be here with me now. I would give them a negative 100 if I could they are awful!!

I have to take the time to leave a 5 star review for this Banfield in orange park . Dec 2nd I took my 12 year old cat who was very sick after taking him to a terrible vet who didn't help whatsoever. Came to found out my baby was very sick and only would have a week left with us Dr Keishla I think it was, was just amazing the nurses who assisted us were great. Everyone in the facility understood us explained everything very well and so caring . We felt everyone's pain with us . Dec 10th we lost our baby and had to get him cremated they made our process so easy they made our time there very comfortable. My baby gordo is thanking you all from kitty heaven

We have had all our rescued cats , raging from 13 to 3 years old enrolled at Banfield Wellness Plans to prevent any illness or at the very least catch them when they are at the beginning stages. Furthermore, we have lived in several states and having fluid and instant access to medical records was a must for us, also that has given us experience with many Banfield Hospitals, in this area and other states. This location is by far the best in this area, Dr Williams is our cats’s primary care physician (yes veterinarian doctors are like pediatricians having to work with non verbal patients and they have the same amount of college years than a person’s doctor. Dr Williams has the experience, expertise knowledge and more importantly the warmth and understanding of our multicat family to tailor prescriptions and solutions that we can implement. That , is highly valued by us and we cannot express our gratitude in words to the whole team of client service coordinators, nurses, and technicians that are knowledgeable and caring to take messages, pass along information and provide appointments in a timely manner. In short, we cannot be happier with our decision to make this our primary clinic.

The young lady at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. She couldn’t bother to get off her personal phone when I walked in and waited. Then after waiting 20 mins for the vet I asked how much longer. She started to talk about me to the other customer that I got there 5 minutes late. I had to leave before o got upset. Extremely unprofessional

Our #1 Veternarian is Dr. Williams who is the best of the best and so are Dr. Urbina and Dr. Shelton and the entire staff, technicians, and handlers at Banfield on Collins Road. Everyone is very professional, friendly with smiles and TLC, competent, credible, "top-notch", trustworthy, compassionate, and provides *TOJ* Tingles Of Joy! With our new Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy we decided on the Optimum Wellness Plan (OWP) which is a tremendous value, a terrific return on investment with substantial savings, and peace of mind! Dr. Williams is helping Penney in healthy growth and development. Penney's weight is ideal and second set of teeth are coming in. This is a brand new building that is the perfect size with lots of big windows and doors with windows, great location, easy access with plenty of parking, and an area outside for dogs to go to the bathroom. It's the people inside that make this the best! Very little customer wait time and talented folks at front desk who are excellent at multi-tasking and greeting customers in person and on the phone. Thank you, all! My family and I are very grateful for all you do in taking such wonderful care of Penney.

Everyone here is so nice and friendly. They seem to care about our pets and their health. We've been using Bandfield since around 2015. No issues at all. We take advantage of the Optimum Wellness Plan. In the long run this plan has saved us a lot of money. Definitely recommend Bandfield!

Extremely unprofessional and at times rude. We have been going for almost a year and this will be the last visit my dog will have at this location. They gave me the wrong medication from what my dog usually takes without asking our approval.I thanked the lady up front for being open on Sunday and she told me “you can thank corporate for that”, implying that she was miserable and did not want to be working which is concerning as a customer and for my pet. If she thinks that imagine how they feel in the back taking care of your animals.Do not go here unless you want them to give your animals the wrong medication and passive aggressive attitudes from the front desk and disorganized staff.

On-site great service. Not sure what was going on today on the phones but the unnecessary wait was devastating. Regardless of calling back every 10-12 min after been patiently waiting was given the same quote “I’m going to put you on hold for a brief minute while I check in a patient”. Never heard back. Got the same answer each occasion I called. I choose to change my post to be more detailed on what cause my 1 ⭐️ review as banefield care team reach out to me I will like to add that this does not represent the great customer service provide on site. They are phenomenal if not the best among the 15 miles ratio. Hopefully next time I call I have a better experience.

Very dirty...I can't sit down because the place is filthy. I don't even want my dogs to walk in, I have to carry them.
