I have a broken foot and cannot easily use my walker. The wonder girl Holly came to my car to get my puppy, so I didn't have to try to use the walker and hold my wild puppy Sailor. Even though there was a slight problem, I would trust this Banfield with my fur baby, indeed.

Please close this location. Staff has no respect for patients or owners. Absolutely butchered my beautiful long haired dogs coat that has taken 6 months to grow out. After specific instructions not to shave him, they decided not only to shave the hot spot but an area 5 times the size of the hotspot. Then thought it was funny. Awful location, awful staff, don’t go here.

I have visited this location for both of my cats when they experienced urinary problems and the service was good. They were treated and sent home by the end of the visit. However, the appointment system online is very confusing and not always accurate. It is easier to call and schedule an appointment when the vet is available.

I have to say I really appreciate the way Banfield at Kernan Square takes care of my dogs. I also have them on the Wellness plans and I considered not renewing when it was time to do so but I did the math. With the xrays, bloodwork, vaccinations, etc., the cost was almost half by being signed up for the Wellness Plan. So yeah, I'm a believer in the Wellness Plan. I have one older chihuahua with heart issues and another with anxiety issues. I do wish Banfield would add sonograms to the Wellness Plans with some kind of discount. Other than that, I'm really happy and would recommend them without any hesitation.

We brought in Toots, a stray black and white cat that was run over by a car at the Mirage Apartments. He passed and the staff at Banfield Pet Hospital were very kind and greeted us with great compassion and took him in. We are forever grateful for their kindness and attentiveness. Thank you.

My Paris La FranC aka Diva is 16yrs old she's been with them since she was 6wks old. I've been with Banfield for years, and I think it was better pricing when they were all inside of PetsMart. Now, their going into stand-alone buildings, and their prices go up like every year or two. I have 3 dogs with plans that's over $120 something a month . I think once I'm dogless, I will stay that way. IJS ??♀️

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. My dog has had a plan with them since he was a puppy and he is six years old. In 2020 he had a cyst removed from his tail. I was told they could not remove it all due to it being in a complicated spot but that it would be biopsied and it was negative for cancer. Every check up I mention it and he has also had another bump on his stomach i was told not to worry about as it was a fatty tumor. In July 2023 i noticed he was struggling to squat when he pooped. I took him in and was told he had arthritis. I got dasuquin and omega 3 and it did not help. I did mention the cyst at this time but was told it was common for the breed and i decided to not do further testing based on being told that AND being told his blood work was normal. A few weeks ago by and he is not improving. He is getting worse and always messing with his tail. I took him in and they did an x ray. I was told the cyst refilled and it was most likely not cancer and to not worry. I was given the option to try meds, get part of it removed again or get his tail amputated. I told them i would like it amputated an hour later and was given an estimate. When i said let’s do it i was then told they wanted a radiologist to examine his x ray first despite telling me they could do it already. They once again told me it was very unlikely it was cancer and to not worry. A week later they call me back and tell me an aggressive cancer is eating away at his vertibre and they cannot help me. When I went back to get records, it shows four of his levels were above normal and one was below normal. They LIED to me constantly and my baby could’ve been receiving treatment this entire time. And to top it off both specialists who requested records from banfield said banfield never sent them or replied. i had to go get them myself because they do not care about me or my baby.

I LOVE this location! Dr. Griffith has been caring for my kitties, Piggy and Pooky, for about 7 years, and he is always so sweet and gentle with them. He explains everything thoroughly and truly seems empathetic and caring. This year, when Piggy started having bowel issues, he did diagnostics and treated symptoms like anyone would, but he was humble enough to realize that a specialist at Blue Pearl would be able to provide more accurate answers and guide treatment, so he referred us out. I'm so glad he did, because we were already established with them when Piggy developed congestive heart failure (due to a condition she had no signs and symptoms of until that day). They were able to treat her quickly, and she is doing really well, all things considered. The morning after Piggy got home, Savannah from Banfield called to check in and let us know how everyone there was thinking of her.I wish I could remember every name of the nurse, techs, and office staff who have helped us. Other than Savannah, there's Ashlynn, Jacob, Heike, and so many more recently. In the past, Dr. Huth and Leandra have been phenomenal, especially with our dogs. This location is very busy, and I can understand the critiques about that...but I still feel they truly care for my babies.

This is my 2nd time at this location. First time for an eye infection (took 3-4 hours from appointment) and today for a skin condition (4 1/2 hours from appointment). Both occasions they stated they would get in touch with me for an update on my cat, I called/went into office for the update after 1 hour. I never met the Doctor once. The front desk lady both times when asked “why hasn’t my cat been seen” it’s been the same “there’s others a head of you” even with an appointment at 12, don’t expect your animal to be seen until 2 hours later, with a pick up at around 3-4 hours after your scheduled time. No apologies were said, instead I was told to vacuum my house, make sure I keep my bed sheets clean, and my cat is overweight (multiple times).Whether it’s this location or this company, I am not going back.

I brought 1 of my dogs here a couple weeks ago because he wasn’t acting like himself for a couple of days - I normally go to the banfield at the towncenter, but they couldn’t get me in same day & was recommended to bring him to this location as they had the availability. I’m so glad we were able to get in as quickly as we did; the vet tech & vet did their thing and got Archie back to his normal self.A recent pic of archie snoozing away because he feels so much better <3

Savanah literally saved my dog's life.I brought my husky to Capital for vomiting, they told me he was just having a stomach ache.It continued so I brought him here. Savanah immediately recognized that he had a foreign body blocking his system and confirmed this with x-rays. I was nearly in tears fearing the worst but Savanah was so supportive and caring and educated me on all my options. She then recommended I rush my pup to First Coast Vets for surgery (because they couldn't do it at Banfield).

Here gors another bad review for this location. I been going to this location for almost 7 years and as everyone says after covid started everything started to changed. First, they always want you to leave the dos in there almost the whole day for them to be checked out in less than 5 minutes. I been waiting for a “quote” for over two weeks. I keep calling to ask about the price and they keep saying they will put on a note for the Doctor. Which to me sounds like pure lassiness from either the front desk that is not taking the message to the doctor or just the Vet not caring. In top of that, today (2/20/23) i called back to ask for the price again and Jacob talk to me very rudely when I tried explaining that the surgery is supposed to happen this Thursday in less than 4 days and this response was that the best he can do is pass the mess And maybe they will call me back on Wednesday. That is absurd if a surgery is supposed to have a flat price, I understand that things can change and price can increase but at least give a price range so I can be better prepared. What would happen if I take the dog for surgery and I haven’t been able to collect all the money of cours They will not care and will not do it because it shows they only care about the money. And that Jacob guy should have his attitude checked
