Vacationing in Amelia Island from upstate New York came to play the ladies tournament- had a lot of fun. This is a great poker room. Played some cash afterwards and did well.

Out of curiosity we tried the sushi... don't do it. Now the Reuben was delicious. The venue is all card tables and at certain times you can bet on horse or dog racing.

I come here way too much. They have table games, poker, one card three car, Texas hold him only thing I don’t like about here no matter how much money you spend you don’t get compliments Sherry anything so I always feel cheated when I lose I would recommend you to go to Tampa so at least if you lose your money you get a free night some food or some liquor

Their rake is insanely high. Most poker frequent recreationals and regulars have no clue how much that impacts their winnings. In their tournaments, from the few that I've seen, they take 22%+ (from your total entry $) as their fee AND on top of that they charge close to 10% for "dealer gratuity",all which is unreal. People that play these tournaments on a regular basis have NO clue how much disadvantage that is. But, beggars cant be choosers when they're the biggest buffet in town.

I went in thinking it would be a traditional casino with roulette, blackjack and slot machines, turns out it’s mainly just blackjack and sports betting. No roulette tables, no slot machines. May be I misunderstood the place to be a casino, but still it showed up in results when I searched for casinos near me.Place seemed nice overall, nothing fancy but should work for someone looking for blackjack and sports betting.

Good poker room. A lot of regulars that jump tables. Once you get those off your table, you end up with a good game.

This is the worst poker room ive ever been to!! The tables games are SUPER RIGGED!!! I have never witnessed such blatant outright cheating anywhere in all my days of gambling! I mean I wouldnt ever even drive by that place again, nor the Orange Park location either! Was at both places , and same Ole SCAM at both! FL GAMING COMMISSION MOST DEFINITELY ISNT DOING THEIR JOB WITH THIS PLACE AND I INTEND ON FINDING OUT WHY NOT 1ST THING MONDAY MORNING BECAUSE THIS PLACE NEEDS STOPPED!!

Came all the way from VA working at Kings Bay and finally had a weekend off. Hadn't played poker for two months and was really itching to play. Best bet was just what I expected and more. Well organized well run and super nice people. See you next weekend.

Great place but as far as eating!? I wish they changed they oil more frequently for the ppl that are allergic! I didn’t choose to be but the Chinese cook informed me they change their oil every 2/3 days which I couldn’t experience nor enjoy what was on the menu??♂️. Hopefully they can improvise soon!

This place is great ! I Had no idea it was Christmas in July ? Although I didn’t get a high hand - I had one of the BEST dealers in the house named CHUNG ? he ensured I’m going to return here ! Give the man a promotion!

Mainly reviewing poker. In town on business and played about 20 hours here so far and unfortunately I can’t say I’m too impressed.Positives:- Lots of parking- Fairly quick to be seated- Most dealers are reasonably quick- Service comes around frequently- Chip runners are quick and available- Starbucks in the building and food has been good- Clean bathroomsNegatives:- Located in a lower income area, does not feel safe in the parking lot and surrounding area, but you can request a walk out to your vehicle which I have done.- Most employees have been friendly, but I have had several negative interactions with floor, just unnecessary rudeness to basic questions. Cage staff is similarly grumpy.- Room is run very greedy - no comps, they rake even if it doesn’t go to the flop, rake is slightly higher than many Vegas rooms. You have to ask for reduced rake shorthanded.- Room is dated but it’s fine.- No table management software like PokerAtlas, they just have dealers calling out open seats and floor running around all the time. Transfer list is done on paper - it’s 2023 this is bush league stuff at this point.- Small sample size of play, but I’ve never seen a player pool so quick to anger as they are here. I saw two players start name calling after one asked to see how much another player had behind after that player called an all-in in a multiway pot. Is this Kindergarten?General poker observations:- 2/2 is capped at 300 and the average table is fairly unplayable unless you’re looking for bingo. Many many players only buying in for 25-50bb, and most hands are a multi-way limp fest. If you’re a for profit player, this is an extremely boring, but profitable game.- 2/5 is fairly good but it’ll take a bit longer to get a seat than 2/2. 800 max which I think is reasonable. It’s a serviceable poker room. I’ve heard lots of recurring comments from the regulars that BestBet desperately needs some competition in the area, and I think that sums it up nicely. Until that happens, BestBet won’t have any real incentive to improve the experience for their players.Absolutely does not compare in quality or atmosphere to most poker rooms in Texas or Vegas - if anything it reminds me most closely of the poker room at The Orleans.

Tell Tommy he shouldn't reprimand his employees in front of people because that's not proper management, so whoever his manager is should teach him how to manage. Respect is earned, but maybe he feels differently
