I just went to this location last Saturday and please tell me why do they have their workers working in a hot building. It felt like a sauna in there. As a customer I was uncomfortable to be in there. Something should be done about this. This is unacceptable for Big Lots to have workers working in the heat!!!!!!

Shelly is the WORST retail employee that I have ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with in my life. Her customer service skills are an absolute disgrace and I am appalled that she is allowed to work with people. I was doing a simple return and she gave me an attitude from the moment I walked into the door. She verbally berated me like a child, would not honestly answer my question about the return, and then lied and told me she was the manager when I asked. I was beyond over her attitude and asked for the actual manager because I knew she was definitely not it! The "actual manager" Casey came out and was very polite. I told him I was very upset with the way she treated me. He told me there was an alternative (like I figured there was but that she had already completed it her way so he couldn't change it) I got her name from Casey. In addition to writing this review to make sure it is seen by others. I was so disgusted that I also reported her with the full details of our interaction to corporate. She is lucky I didn't record it. People like Shelly should not work in retail or anything involving customer interaction.

Jamie the manager is very rude and unprofessional! I was instructed by an older female Employee, Gail, to contact the manager regarding my concerns. This lead me nowhere, I received short, cold and uninterested responses. It's a shame how our world operates to this day. This big lots has gone down hill, significantly, I have been a patron here for over 20 years, and sadly I will no longer be a patron.

So grateful for the manager who helped me out with the expired coupon mailed to me two days ago. I only shop with their coupons. I appreciate you honoring my long history with the store.
