I have been going to bombshell beauty for over 10 years. The environment is always friendly, welcoming and really chill. I’ve received services from several of the stylist and no matter who I go to I’m always beyond satisfied.

I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience. I booked a natural style and trim with Marnae’ after seeing several great reviews for her. I arrived to the appointment five minutes late and still waited an additional half hour to be seen. When I sat in the chair, she lightly sprayed my hair with water (it was not even damp) and then began to rake through it with a brush. I politely told her that my hair is easier to detangle when it is fully wet. She told me that my hair tends to matte and continued to dry brush through my week old wash and go curls. I expressed my concern to her again, and she proceeded to ignore me. I asked her if she was going to respond to what I said and she said, “well this is easier for me.” I have gone to several natural hair salon stylist, and never have had them rake through my hair while it is dry with a brush. The last time this happened in a salon, I was a child and it was before natural hair stylist were widespread. I know that this leads to breakage and single strand knots for me. I lost all confidence that she knew what she was doing with natural hair and told her that I was done and got up and left. I paid a $35 nonrefundable deposit and all I am left with is disappointment.
Update: Swan provided a full refund of my deposit; she was very professional and amiable.

I really enjoyed being there amongst the ladies, the atmosphere was welcoming, plus as a bonus Chantel was very honest with me regarding my hair length and growth when it came to me wanting to chop it down to a bob...lol

I have been going to Bombshell Beauty salon for about a year now, and I am very comfortable there. The owner and other beauticians are so nice. My personal beautician is Marnae, who is so sweet and kind, and have the best attitude ever. She is a beautician who is very concern about her clients. When I first got there my hair was so thin and short, now my hair is thick and longer. She is so good with natural hair, I love the beautiful styles she gives me, my husband always gives me great compliments on my hair. Marnae I am so grateful to have you for my Beautician. Thank you so much.

Thanks, bombshell my experience was great. I didn’t think it would take such short of time to do my hair. I hate sitting there and I didn’t have to sit that long at all. I really enjoyed my shampoo and makes my head feel great wonderful job thanks swan I received the tips great love my hair ready for a shampoo swan five stars all the way

Hello good morning! I arrived in Jacksonville a month ago and this one caught a lot of attention from several beauty salons, and I would like to schedule an appointment. I'm about to have a birthday and I would like to change my look to an ash blonde, I actually have it in light brown and I want to do a cut and iron it. Can I go any day or do I have to make an appointment?

Found this gem on Google 4 years ago when I moved to Jacksonville and I have been coming ever since! Marnae takes great care mine and my daughters hair! They can do it all and she has helped to allow me to keep my hair natural while being here in Florida! I love Bombshell! Clean, Efficient, Extremely Knowledgeable, Kind, Patient, and Wonderful atmosphere!

I love coming here it's the only salon I go to in Jacksonville! Swan is amazing and her lovely staff. All the ladies are well knowledged about the hair care that they provide. My silk press are always beautiful and last up to a month! Great service all around. Thank you Bombshell Beauty!!

I finally decided to get my hair done at this salon because of the incredible reviews I saw online. I just got my hair done today by Marnae and I am in love! Her focus is natural hair care while the others do braids, extensions and weaves.So my hair was in need of a good haircut style but I didn’t know what I can do due to the condition of my hair, it was uneven throughout. Marnae worked with me to get the best style that fits my face. We went for a short bob. She also added a deep conditioning to my strands and the end results was more than I expected. I also got a silk press. The entire time she was gentle with my hair and scalp.I met Swan the owner of the Salon, she is pretty outgoing and so is Marnae, the Salon looks super chic so I loved that too. I had a great experience from the beginning to end, oh and when Marnae wash my hair it felt so therapeutic.I’ve tried places out here in Jacksonville and this by far is the best salon I have found! They take your concerns seriously and work with you on getting results. Soon I will be going back to get a hair color services!
