This is a very nice Barnes & Noble located next to the Cheesecake Factory and a very attractive shopping plaza. The staff is extremely friendly and they have a great selection of books. I also like how the store is laid out. I'm a big fan of horror and mystery and this particular location had a great selection. I know people are looking at purchasing digital copies of books now, but I still want something tangible, or hard copy in my hands. I want to flip the pages experience the whole process that makes reading such a joy. Yes, the greatest gift of reading a great story is the fact that it can transcend you to another time and perhaps another world, something must be said about the act of opening up a book, coming to the pages, and reading the written word. I would definitely recommend a visit to this particular location. Go check it out.

Beware of any purchases made there! I received a gift from B&N for Christmas that I wanted to return. I had to drive almost 40 min to get there due to it being far from home as well as rainy. I walk up to the cashier, after waiting 10 min at an empty Customer Service Desk only to be told "exchanges are done at the register". Then I ask for a refund and I am told "we only do refunds as gift cards". Given no other choice, I had to accept it. But After I exhaust this card to the last penny I will never step foot in a B&N ever again.

I braved traffic today to stop in for my son who has been wanting the book "Turkey Trouble" for some time now. We headed to the kids section and browsed for a bit before we asked for help. The young lady working there checked to see if the book was in stock, but sadly, it wasn't. Rather than watch us walk away empty handed, she suggested a book series that is popular with a lot of young boys. She proceeded to tell us about the premise of the books and then told us she was certain he'd love it because they are incredibly funny. My son wasn't sold on it, but I told him we should give it a chance and purchased the first book. Well, fast forward a few hours later and my son has had the book read to him several times. He LOVES IT!! I'm only sorry that I didn't check the associate's name to properly thank her for the recommendation. B&N employee - THANK YOU! FYI- she recommended "The Bad Guys" and it is such a fun read. Also, traffic down in St. John's Town Center is a nightmare, but I can't fault B&N. Customer service in that store has always been top notch every single time I have visited.

Could there ever be anything bad to say about a place full of books? Seriously?! Just the smell when you walk in entices you to immediately pick up a copy from one of their many displays. I love how they separate the books out with new selections, new authors, similar to ones you've liked in the past. It makes it so easy to find exactly that right book (or two, or three, ...). They also have a selection of games, and trinkets for the kids. I don't think these are absolutely necessary, but hey, I'm just there for the books. Their kids section is massive and easy to find just that right story to intrigue young minds. Staff wonders throughout and they are very helpful. They have an attached coffee shop with several tables and chairs for sipping and reading. Scattered throughout (although not as many as they used to), they have chairs so you can take a minute to peruse your stack for just the right read. Their bargain section is always a fun place to find something new and interesting, or for a book or two to share. On this visit I picked up a book about sloths for my adult son who thinks he wants one as a pet, a book about Doctor Who for my teen, and an adult female comedy book for my oldest daughter. See - something for everyone!

Been a patron of B&N Town Center from the earliest days and still a fan! Always a great place to hangout amongst the stacks and peruse the latest books and mags. My B&N Nook is still going strong and an absolute necessity for my air travel for movies as well as e-books. Love the Nook section as well as the Nook customer service. The Starbucks Cafe is a great place to find a smaller selection of their coffees - best with a good book! The $25 Annual rewards program gives you a 10% discount on all items but we have not used the program for 2 years so we decided not to renew - still good to have if you purchase a bunch of books. B&N is worth checking out if you are looking for a good place for some downtime and want to wander the "cool" stacks!

When you walk into Barnes & Noble the first thing you'll notice is the smell of fresh books and espresso. They have the most extensive variety of books, gadgets, games, gifts and children's toys around. Every time I've been in there is always a good selection (and decent!) books on sale. My favorite part my bar is the children's area. The decor makes you feel like your walking right into a page of your favorite childhood book. They have books for kids of all ages and typically have a table set up for books associated with upcoming holidays etc. Tip: they even offer story time weekly if you want a free event to keep your little ones entertained (and learn a love of reading).

I love bookstores- and they are a slowly dying breed of stores. Barnes and Noble being a chain has books that are priced average, over-priced and some bargains. If you are like me you grab something and find a seat and thumb through, sometimes I read and get hooked and buy, sometimes I grab something non-fiction and stuff some knowledge and put it back on the shelf. This time I wandered, roamed about looking at all the different titles, authors, recommended books~ I bought several books last time I was in and have not finished those. Sunday evening was busy- I love seeing kids sitting on the floor fingering through bookshelves! Not enough people read. There were all ages of customers about. Hubby did find something to purchase- probably a military history book (I didn't ask) and did an impulse buy for me- he found nerdy book patches! I love coming to Town Center to hit Kilwins and then Barnes & Noble. This is a once a month date for hubby & me. Yes- you can find better prices sometimes online- but why wait for shipping? Enjoys walking through the aisles of bookshelves!

Personally, I'm a bit biased when it comes to bookstores or any place that has the quintessential beauty of literature. This location is no exception. Located in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the busy St. Johns Town Center, this B&N is a quiet haven of coffee and paper that can help you take a moment to get away from all the things going on outside. Many different areas to peruse, plus some chairs so you can read a few pages of a potential purchase or stop in their coffee shop to drink something while working on your laptop. If you're looking for a spot to relax after shopping, or in between stores, this is a great spot. Personally, this could be my only spot because I love the smell of new books. That paper smell for me is like catnip and I could sit in the middle of it for hours without an issue.

They sell books and magazines of all genres of course, but also legos, toys, board games, collectible figurines, knick-knacks, stuffed animals, NOOK, and more. I even bought a Razor scooter from here. The staff is nice. Way nicer than at the B&N on San Jose Blvd. The coffee bar employees are especially welcoming and pleasant. Karen is always very upbeat, nice, and friendly. This place is like an oasis, where you stop for a coffee and a good read to relax after you explored the myriad of stores at the St Johns Town Center. Their clearance sales are awesome. One just ended recently where they had a bunch of stuff for $2. If you sign up for a membership, you save an extra 10% off of everything. It's combinable with coupons, and applied to clearance items as well.

They have a good selection of books and decent sales. Very spacious and a coffee area that's great to relax or study at. A little unorganized at times but overall a great place if you are looking for something to read or if you want to go somewhere to escape the outside and grab a good book.

I love Barnes & Noble because it has such a large selection of books, games, and a Starbucks cafe. I only get tea from Starbucks because the coffee is too strong for my liking. I'm a Dunkin Donuts type of gal when it comes to coffee. I also ordered a buffalo cauliflower flatbread. Had no idea Starbucks offered flatbread pizza now. If you like spicy then this is the pizza for you. Having said that, it is still nice to be able to grab a Chai Tea Latte, a book and sit and read. I love it because I can read as much of the book as I need to see if I actually want to spend my money on it. The only problem was finding a seat. If you're not familiar with the store, it's kind of a maze in there. I knew they had some comfy chairs to sit in but I didn't find them until It was time for me to leave. I wasn't in the mood to walk around looking so I settled for a hard wooden seat because it was the first seat I could find. I also know that B & N is not a library so I don't expect peace and quiet but this day it seemed to be a meet and greet type of place. Way too noisy for a book store. At least in my opinion. I will say the employees were extremely nice and helpful. I was looking for puzzles (1000 piece puzzles) and I couldn't find the section because like I said, it is a maze in there, but thank goodness for the helpful employee who escorted me all the way to the section and showed me all the varieties.

Very few outlets in cafe area. More around the support columns but no place to sit. The kids tend to think they're in a playground and the parents don't care. The parking is terrible and I know I've been enough to know that sometimes they have live music right by the front door. Why is there live music by the front door to a book store. I tend to spend as little time here as possible. I'd recommend the location on San Jose if you want it to be a bit quieter though their outlet situation is not any better.

There are moments when I experience excellent customer service that validate my reasoning for being a patron, reward card holder and suggesting the public give Barnes & Noble a chance to wow you! I had 30 minutes on a lunch break to locate a non-fiction business book to send via USPS to a friend in Illinois and the associate located in in under a minute. She said she remembered the title and like a homing pigeon she zoned in on its location. I was impressed. The remainder of my time was spent taking in different sections and impulse browsing. I got to the checkout where Tiffany was thorough with each guest validating selections, offering the B&N reward card and suggesting discounts. She was personable and bubbly. I really liked her. She was the exact same way with me. I added a Men's Health magazine to my purchase as it was at the cashier counter calling my name. I presented my B&N card, my 15% off one item coupon and through the entire process she was engaging and genuinely interested in my satisfaction with selections and service. She also pointed out on my receipt that I had a BOGO cookie at the Cafe that ended today. You guessed it, I went to the cafe got the cookies (Sugar and Reese's PBC cookies in case you're wondering) as Terrell was also sunshiny in demeanor from salutation to a handshake at his invitation to come back. With 4 minutes to spare as I walked a few yards back to work I was recalling how great my time was in B&N was. My employees were happy I shared those cookies with them as well.
