Beautiful shop with very nice staff/owners. My friend, fiance and I went today after lunch just to check it out and it's amazing! Tons of cool items to browse and consideration purchasing for your collections. Beautiful vintage clothing, clocks, jewelry, decor and anything you can imagine is in there somewhere!

Love a good antique hunt. Been visiting Castaways for a few months and it seems like inventory does not change much. Vendors price things a little higher than other nearby shops hence the stagnant product.

I found Castaways as I was leaving Southern Dessert Plate with a sackful of goodies. It's an antique store with a modern touch, selling various collectibles and handmade treasures from local vendors and artists. The store is immaculately kept and is easy to navigate, though there are many rooms and areas to explore. The highlight for me was the abundance of festive ornaments and seasonal decorative items to choose from, and the only problem was that I couldn't buy them all. The things that I had selected, however, were one of a kind and will look absolutely fabulous on my Christmas tree! The lady at the counter was very kind and gracious, so a big thank you goes out to her! Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, SUPPORT your local eats and businesses, and as always....SYOY!

I will start by saying if you are looking for a good Antique store check out eco relics, 5 points vintage, or Rusted in San Marco. Not one to ever leave a bad review, especially for a small business but the treatment I received at this establishment was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. As an employee for a small, Jax owned business I know how important it is to support local but I will never return to this place. My partner and I were spending our day off work checking out antique spots around town to find stuff for our new home. We wore our masks and as we were walking into the door, an unmasked man violently opened the door and yelled in our faces to read the sign and my partner and I were so confused and just looked at him. He continued to yell in our faces and repeatedly yell at us to read the sign (while holding the door open so we couldn’t even read it) He then grabbed the door and slammed it shut. We read the sign & in small print it says wear masks and don’t bring in purses. I had a purse with me and I also completely respect when an antique store does not allow purses and I would have absolutely walked back to my car and left my purse there had the man approached me in respectful manner. I have never been treated so poorly, especially by a neighborhood business. We advised him to adhere to his own rules and regulations and wear a mask to protect his clients. Furthermore, we advised the owner that he needed to learn how to talk too potential clients with dignity and respect.

If you are a dealer or consignor run. Do not consign with these people. They have "lost" some very valuable pieces I put on consignment there. Also sold a pair of my 1920s cobalt blue lamps for 1/2 the price I had them marked for. There was a Piccard gold rimmed peacock plate that is just MIA. it was too large to just lose. I cannot Express how hurt I am.

HUGE antique store and they have a lot of hard to find pieces in there as well. I've seen some of the most spectacular pieces at this store and the owners are two of the nicest people you could meet. if you're ever in the area I highly recommend stopping in and checking everything out. make sure you have a couple hours because they have a lot!!
