I was trying to buy some CDs using the Charles Schwab website and, while the platform looks similar to the TD Ameritrade one, it was not allowing me to buy the CDs I wanted and asked me to get assistance through a phone number. I was in the line for long time and I was not able to get anybody. I decided to come to this office to get assistance directly. After showing what my problem was, the person assisting me just directed me to the same phone number. So... What is this office for then? What a waste of time this place is...

I was very happy with TD Ameritrade until the recent switch to Schwab. Since the move to Schwab, I have connectivity issues, am unable to login to the app and website without multiple attempts...sometimes over an hour of wasted time. Further, TD Ameritrade would always pick up the phone within a ring or two...this morning, I sat on hold for :30 before abandoning the call. Even the on hold message did not play properly.
When it comes to technology, things can go awry, however, it is not acceptable when your trading platform has this many issues.
I am not sure why I am giving 2-Stars when, in my opinion, the Think or Swim platform under Charles Schwab is worthless.

Schwab use to be a good company to invest with but you can’t reach the local company and I just found out that my accounts are robotic!! This was done without my knowledge!! Moving my money!!

A while back, I thought that Schwab was a good company. But I've had a lot of issues with them over the past year or so. I tried logging in on their mobile app and website for awhile this morning before I was finally able to log in. They cost me money. Frustratingly, they also bought out Ameritrade this year, and because of that, I couldn't log into my Ameritrade account for even longer today. That cost me even more money. And then, one of my trades went through for 15 cents less than it was trading for. I've never had these problems with any other company before. Why am I using them If they are costing me money? I will be moving my business elsewhere.

Needing to update streetsmart edge platform especially for mac users. "unable to log in" on a daily basis, after attempting multiple times is unacceptable. "Unable to log you in try back in a few minutes" can be frustrating when its costing you money. As for customer service they are good and can be very helpful, they’re also easily available and knowledgeable.

We live overseas and had several issues that we needed resolved while back in the states and we found the office to be very helpful; MIchelle Jones and especially Jordan Beck were outstanding. Jordan went above and beyond to ensure our transactions and account issues were taken care of.

So came here to see Charles and he was not here, but if you would like a free copy of his book you can pick it up here. I called it Charles Swag! (Humor!) anyways.... Actually needed to get some information about setting up a little account for a grandchild and how that would work etc. The folks here are very nice and full of great information. If you have investing concerns or tax sheltering questions they have Certified Financial Planners that are available to advise you and help with those muddy waters of IRA's or 401k's or BMI's.....no I think the gym helps with that one, but the investment associated here can certainly provide you with the tools and information you need to make the right investment decisions. If you feel a need for a snack while your waiting, they have a primo kitchen area full of goodies and drinks to choose from and.....they even offer you more snacks. Disregard the Fidelity Investments commercial on the TV, which I thought was hilarious and inappropriate laughter started coming from me. I guess you can't block cable news.
