Trust me when I tell you, I have moved a lot; 15+ different moves, including overseas! I called at spoke with Steven Sirp for my move from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL to the PA area. He was prompt, informative and happy to answer all my queries. Miss Kitty and her sister packed our things in a safe and timely manor. Kurt and Nick carefully wrapped our furniture and were very careful and courteous. Calvin and his team took care of us on the PA end and did a fantastic job. I know I have another move in the near future, I won’t hesitate using this group again.

DO NOT USE. If I could rate less than one star I would. The worst movers. I moved several times including cross country and NEVER had an experience like this one. Almost EVERY piece of my furniture was broken beyond repair, and/or ripped, marred, soiled, stained, dirty. Most of my furniture was less than 8 months old including a white leather chair/bed from Scandesign, a custom ordered leather recliner, a down linen sofa, floor lamps from Arhaus, a glass top dining table that is scratched - chunks of wood missing from its base...... I immediately filed a claim and it has taken almost one year to receive any settlement that doesn't even cover the cost of replacing the $2650.00 Scandesign Chair/bed let alone my bed or sofa, lamps.. I fought the initial offer until I honestly gave up - I sent pictures of the damage several times and included receipts. DO NOT USE.

I NEVER write reviews, but there is no way I could not write this one if only to help someone else avoid the worst moving experience I have ever had. writing to share the full details of the most moving experience I have ever had. I hired Coleman for a move from Central Florida to South Florida in 2021 and had a great experience. This was the reason I choose Coleman for this move. There were numerous things that went wrong from day one of the move. The crew arrived and started 2.5 hours after the 8-10 am window provided. When they showed up, one of the three cursed and complained nonstop about how he did not want to be there, was not supposed to be doing my move and about how much he had to move. One of the other movers told me it's something he did all the time and that it even made him uncomfortableThe movers arrived on time in Jacksonville however once they started unloading and placing my items I noticed several issues which I have detailed below.Broken items1) Chest of drawers2) Top of ottoman3) Two floor lamps4) Large plastic storage containerDamaged items1) Back of sofa stained2) Leg of keyboard stand3) Bottom of chest of drawers chippedMissing items1) Curtain rod2) Full box of baby wet wipes3) Plant food, seeds and containersIf all of the above wasn't bad enough, once the movers had left I noticed that the guest bathroom door was closed. When I went in I found the toilet fithly and clogged and urine on the toilet and floor. One of the movers used my bathroom without my permission and did not have the decency to let me know the toilet was clogged.I'm not sure about the Coleman offices in other cities, but save yourself the headache and avoid the Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville locations.

Coleman was contracted to move my stuff for my military separation with the Navy. The staff was super friendly and polite, took great care of all my home goods I had packaged up and reenforced packing/packed up some loose items I had that weren’t already boxed up. Also took the time to go through and explain things and make sure I didn’t have any questions about the entire process or any of the paperwork. Glad they were chosen to safely move my stuff for me and highly recommend reaching out to them for any moving needs you have!

Coleman Allied moved my things a couple months ago. Make sure you don't have them put anything in "Fragile" worded boxes, for they will just try to break those and not regular boxes.

From working with Jeff on the quote to working with the office staff Michelle and Regina. Everything was super easy and simple coordinating. The team that loaded the truck we great and took care of all of things and ensured everything arrived in the same condition. Roy and his team were professional and updated me on their arrivals on both the load day and delivery day. I will definitely reach out for my next move.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. This was the worst moving experience I have ever had to deal with. First of all, my things were picked up on 9/7 and was still in Jacksonville until 9/21. 2 whole weeks of just sitting there. Worst part, I had to continually follow up and finally they called me back to tell me that my things were still in Jacksonville. The delivery window to Chicago (where I relocated to) was 9/18-9/21. They got back to me on 9/20 to tell me this news. I had to call the destination agent who was the one that raised a red flag when they told me that there was no carrier or no driver assigned. My belongings came crumpled. I received my belongings a week late. When I was on the phone with Michelle Norris, she had the audacity to tell me that she would hang up on me if I continued to complain rather than actually listening to my problems. Naturally, I was frustrated and upset. Instead of trying to help me, she just pawned me off to Allied corporate and told me to go make a claim. Also, they only compensate for each day that it was late. Which is only $75/day. I had to reserve a freight elevator for those days and it was $100/day but, that doesn't matter to them. They wouldn't even try to help me recoup some of this money. I asked Michelle for the Claims application twice and CCed someone from Allied corporate. Of course, that person from corporate got back to me and provided me the necessary forms. Michelle has yet to follow up with me. Seems like she didn't and doesn't care about the terrible service Coleman Worldwide provided. I guess they realize they will never deal with me again so they just don't care at all. To anyone vetting moving services in Jacksonville, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Unless you want a delayed delivery, terrible customer service, broken belongings, couches on top of your fragile goods, and crumpled boxes, go find a different moving company. Oh almost forgot, they sent ONE person to do the move by himself. And the day they were supposed to come pick up my things, he was an hour late.

The entire team: packers, truck loaders, drivers, un-loaders and follow-up rep. Michelle Norris were completely unprofessional. The packers showed up four hours late, were sloppy and careless with our things (they were very happy to take the items we couldn't take with us, though, like food and alcohol and cleaning supplies, and were very protective of those things). Michelle conveniently placed her follow up calls just after packers arrived, to see how things were going. She was well aware of lateness, yet acted so surprised when we informed her that the team had just arrived. We paid for full packing service but did not receive it; they just taped up the items in our garage that were in boxes - but were not packed for a move - and called it good. We didn't know this until we received our things at our new house and saw the crushed and crumpled boxes that were being unloaded, since we were trying to oversee the kitchen packing at the old house and couldn't also oversee the garage packing. They also just dumped parts into boxes so they ended up on the bottom of the box or put them in smaller boxes that were upside down and came open during shipment and things were strewn around the inside of the box. Just careless. Since the loaders didn't bring a big enough truck, we had to wait for an extra truck and crew to finish loading, it took them until after 7:00pm to complete the loading. When our things arrived at our new address, the first thing the driver did was show us a ladder bookshelf that was in pieces; it looked like firewood. And that was just the beginning. We also were missing many items. We don't know how that happened since all of the box / furniture / item numbers were accounted for. We surmise the things must have been stolen by the packers before any numbers got put on them. Then, when we filed claims for only the most damaged and expensive items which amounted to more than $3000, the adjuster sent us a check for $1400 and called it "Done", with no way for us to dispute. We had to accept less than half the replacement value. If we had had the time to do claims for everything that was damaged or lost, it would have taken us weeks and would have been for far more money. There were invaluable family keepsakes that can never be replaced that were broken into tiny pieces or just didn't arrive. It was heartbreaking. So much for getting extra insurance. It was beyond disappointing to have no recourse available to us for this horrible experience and for the loss of our things. AVOID Coleman Allied of Jacksonville, FL, at all costs. BTW, just an additional 'buyer beware', if you are planning on storing your things in the Jacksonville storage facility, especially during extreme temperatures, like summer, make sure your items are packed accordingly because the facility is NOT climate controlled. Our items were stored from June to October and the summer heat ruined many of our things.

Very unorganized. No workers showed up the first day. Second day workers were there but the truck showed up several hours late causing some arguments and fighting between the workers. All of it was very unprofessional. The job done was poor quality. Furniture had significant damages. White/cream sectional and sofa were both covered in black dirt/smudges that professional cleaners said could not be cleaned, several pieces of furniture were chipped, hardwood floors were damaged throughout the house, cloth headboard was ripped, dining room table damaged, etc.Poor Value and Not responsive. Hired work left at 5pm and the job was far from finished - Large pieces of furniture were left in the middle of the house with no beds put together. All the items on the inventory check list were marked off by the workers, but we later discovered several large and/or expensive items were missing (art work, headboard to bedroom suite, 9x12 carpet padding, etc.). We were told that some of the missing items were on the truck and would be brought back, but after repeated requests we've now been told that they are gone and the company is not responsible for the lost items.

Cynthia is amazing! I’m so happy with how she and her team helped me after another moving company didn’t. They went above and beyond!

The only professional team member associated with Coleman-Allied St. Augustine that I can recommend is the estimator, Steven Sirup. The rest of the team, packers, truck loaders and follow-up rep. Michelle Norris were sub-par. The packers showed up hours late, were sloppy and careless with our items. We paid for full packing service and did not receive it. I had a Mexican pottery birdbath and tall flamingo that they decided they would not pack but just wrap in a moving blanket. My husband was supervising the packers. I never would have let that pass. Of course they both arrived broken, amongst many other things. My husband didn't notice the slob job because those pottery items were outside on the front porch and he was inside supervising the other packer. Only two packers were sent to perform a full pack on our 2,000 sq. Ft. House. UnacceptabLe, it took them until 9:00pm to complete the packing. Of course arriving hours late did not help matters. Same thing next day with movers. Arrived hours late, always excuses COVID related as is convenient these days. Michelle alway conveniently placed her follow up calls immediately after packers and movers arrived to see how things were going. She was well aware of lateness, yet acted so surprised when I informed her that the team had just arrived. Any problem resolution needed we turned to Steven for assistance, he was extremely helpful when we had an issue with having to delay receipt of our belongings. It was most distressing receiving so many valuable broken items due to the careless pack job which we paid dearly for. My strong recommendation is to not use Coleman Allied of St. Augustine.

I retired and moved to Norfolk, Virginia from Jacksonville, Floriday in September. I started planning early and interviewed several companies. I spoke to Jeff Ryba, and expressed my concerns with moving long distance. The many stories you hear about belongings being held hostage for thousands of dollars more. It was the best experience in moving I have ever had, and I have been through a lot of military moves previously. The driver, Bruce, was so nice, professional and kept the workers moving. I had prepacked most of my belongings, and they took the bed apart, and covered the rest of the furniture. I drove out the same day, and four days later, they were delivering my belongings to my new home. The workers were respectful, taking care with my belongings, and the walls and stairs in the house. They put my bed back together and had it all done in a few hours. Instead of an increase in price, I ended up getting a refund because of all the boxes I had prepacked. I had a great experience, and would recommend them to anyone. I didn't have one thing broken. They were awesome. I only gave them 4 stars because the refund took a few weeks to get.

Everyone associated with our move was very professional, and helpful. Starting with Jeffrey Ryba, the consultant who originally came to our home and gave us the estimate. He impressed us with his expertise, answered all our questions, calmed our fears , and also arranged to have our vehicle shipped from Florida to New York. Michelle continuted to follow up, including pick-up and delivery dates. Darryl, the moving van driver was also very pleasent. I would definately call and request Jeffrey Ryba to give you an estimate for any move (Jacksonville office) as he continued to follow through from the estimate to the final delivery, he is very knowlegeable and knows his job thoroughly. He is amazing, and precise at what he does. Coleman Moving is lucky to have him to represent them to the public.

Worst move ever! The move from St. Augustine to Sarasota was horrible. Looking at the photos it is obvious that the furniture was not wrapped or secured in the truck. There was so much damage to our furniture that our neighbors asked if the movers had a vendetta against us. Furniture that we bought for our St. Augustine house and was in perfect condition is ruined as well as other pieces. For example, our Henredon King size bed had broken side rails where the rail attached to the headboard. The men tried to blame it on the warehouse, but we found one of the broken pieces in our garage. Mattress was dirty. Nearly every chest or armoire has scraped legs and/or sides where it appears to have been dragged. Tops of tables and sideboard have gouges and scratches. Eagle Insurance has been no help. Move was seven months ago and we are still not in agreement. First, representative told us she had been out with Covid-19 (3 months after filing first claim). Now, her excuse is that she has a new boss.
