What a beautiful experience. So tranquil, and the food was great. The service was even better. Going before sunset to eat and then walk the grounds with a nice drink. Just a perfect place.

I fully regret driving the 45 minutes it took to get to this establishment. My husband and I wanted to enjoy the nice weather and try something different for lunch so I thought why not. Before ever fully committing to coming I looked at their website and Facebook page to make sure they did not have an event happening. NOWHERE does it say reservations are required to eat here. Shame on me for seemingly not knowing the unwritten rule for needing one. While the woman checking people in was very friendly, she told us that they required reservations to eat and outside of walking the grounds there was nothing she could help us with as they were fully booked that day with large parties and that we could wait for the food trucks at dinner. If your establishment is a reservation only service, it might be helpful to state that on your website. If I wanted to walk around and pick a pumpkin out I could go to Walmart, where I certainly could also get food. I will never come here again

Open air hanger on a farm is not always where you expect to find excellent dining but this was. Much of the food is farm to table, with all ciders made on site. Didn't love the middlins, but the shrimp and grits and eggplant roulade were exquisite.

To give you a better picture of my review, we did not eat here. We went here to experience the pumpkin patch in October. Unfortunately, there was not much of a pumpkin patch. However, that was not a problem. It was very expensive to get a pass onto the farm for 2 adults and a child and to buy one adult beverage, and one child beverage, and a pumpkin…I mean, really overpriced, it was worth it to be able to walk around the farm. This is one of the most beautiful places in Jacksonville. Although we did not eat there, I can imagine that the food is delicious and to be able to walk around this farm, which is probably 100s of acres, is a gift. There are animals to see, chairs to sit in, ponds to meditate by, and trails to kick around in. It’s family friendly, and, at the same time, great for a first date. I could even see a wonderful wedding going down here. They have a cute little vineyard, and lots of other fun things to see. Kids can enjoy a lovely tree swing, as well.
Highly recommend.
Kid-friendliness: Agh! If you have kids and no babysitter, but need a night out, this is the place! Kids can run around and get their wiggles out, and you guys can sit and enjoy!

On behalf of NAMI Jacksonville, I would like to extend a huge thank you to Congaree and Penn for submitting a donation to our 2024 NAMIWalks Jacksonville event. They were quick in response and kind-hearted.

This is such a nice farm to visit. Everything is manicured and stunning. The staff are always friendly and the animals are so sweet!

We love this place, both for a date night and for a summer afternoon with the family. The cider is perfect, their wine list may be the best in Jax for variety, value and quality (it’s so nice to have a place that don’t pander to the grocery store wine drinker), the food is fine dining without the pretentiousness and the setting is unparalleled. It’s Napa before Napa became commercial, in all the best ways: A place that pays attention to every detail but you can still sit outside at a fire pit and enjoy the evening. Did I mention the perfection of the cider? I’d die happy drinking nothing but that for the rest of my days!

Do the horse greet !! It's so worth the money. Not only are the horse's breathtakingly beautiful, they are very well trained. At no point did I feel threatened by them. No doubt it was the time and devotion, the love Lindsay put into them. I felt honored to have the opportunity to spend time with them. Our group of 8 people had tons of questions Lindsay was happy to answer. She handled our group expertly in every aspect. At the end of our visit I was pleasently surprised when she asked if anyone wanted to lead the horses back to their stall. I've always wanted to do that !! The horse greet is truly a unique, fun and enriching experience. I highly recommend, even if you're not that into horses, youll walk away happy. To sign a waiver and walk to the stables takes about 10 mins so get there early.

We went to Congaree & Penn for my wife’s birthday last week & she’s still thanking me!
We had appetizers, lunch & dessert & all of the food was whole natural fresh cooked farm to table foods & the ciders were delicious (we got the cider flight.)
We took our dog & they are very dog friendly & accommodating.
Afterwards we walked around the property & it was like a storybook farm!
Lots of places to sit & relax & enjoy the scenery.
Definitely recommend & we have added it to our “must come back” places as they have lots of new seasonal activities year round!

Beautiful venue and the food is incredibly good. This was probably the best meal I’ve eaten all year.

A unique spot in Jacksonville for upscale dining. This place feels more like Tallahassee or South Georgia than the 904. Put on your best sundress and flats and explore the 330-acre farm before sitting down for a farm-to-table dinner. The menu changes seasonally and provides elegant, somewhat rustic American options, including a catch of the day. We had shrimp and grits and a short rib, both were excellent. We also enjoyed the cider flight and poached apples and smoked fish appetizers.
