My family and I are so pleased with the fireplace CSS built for us. Everyone from sales, to scheduling to the builders were phenomenal. We appreciate their attention to detail, flexibility and professionalism. This fireplace is already the focal point of our living room and home. We recommend them to anyone.

Need an outdoor kitchen? This is the place to make that happen. Quality products, Fireplaces, grills, bars and so much more. Their new product is the Gonz Pizza Grill. It is both gas and wood burning and comes in two sizes. It takes less than 2 minutes and your individual pizza is done.

I had been looking at the Gozney Dome for some time, but had some concerns. I reached out to CSS and they quickly put my concerns to rest. They were easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. The Dome is an amazing piece of cookware that will transform any backyard. I was blown away by Gozney’s packaging and the attention to detail. Having the dual cook option makes it quick and easy to get started and throw in a pizza on a rushed night. Take a more relaxed approach and built a fire for more complex flavors. I had looked at smaller types of pizza ovens, but nothing compares to the dome. It’s huge and looks really good in my backyard. I have more room to experiment with other dishes and can utilize my collection of cast iron for reverse searing steaks or getting other results you only find in a professional kitchen. I am super excited to finally have a fire pizza oven in my backyard and could not have done it without CSS.

These people installed an 42" fireplace that I requested through my builder, but it fills the room with smoke and soot collects on the surrounding facia stone. I troubleshoot for a living and tried every window/door open/shut configuration possible at differing temperatures over 3 years and could not get it to stop. Company was fully engaged from the beginning and initially sent someone very competent to check everything out. Second visit was by 5-7 workers I like to call the "Hands in pockets" crew that did not work the problem very much and ultimately blamed it on airflow scenarios I had just demonstrated in front of them and proven not to be the issue. The firebox is 42" but the the smoke collector is only 6" deep with an 8" flue. This isn't enough to service the firebox, but on top of that the flue immediately bends several inches at the top of the firebox to correct a misalignment of the main pipe and chimney cap. The facia stone on the wall is sooted black, the mortar underneath is baked and crumbling from the heat rolling out the top face. They jerked me around for a couple years. I gave up and decided to convert to gas fire logs from a different company, because after all, only the lawyers win when you take that route. No thanks. The collector and flue won't even remove that burnt gas smell. These people should have replaced the defective firebox, but the relationship with their manufacturer is obviously more important than the one with their builder's customers. Its just cheap sheet metal and I would've endured the dust and disruption had they fixed it, but no. Construction Solutions wins. Congratulations.Edit: Your reply is bizarre and demonstrates a complete inability and disinterest in resolving the issue. My name is not Griffin. The fresh air intake duct is clearly visible in the mid-construction picture to the left of the firebox. The room has 2 8'x12' glass sliding doors and the problem was demonstrated with those doors both open and closed to the outside. I did this in front of your people. I also provided that information in a complete run-down of all the troubleshooting scenarios that had been performed. I'd accuse you of deception on this, but really, I think the issue is you're just dense and don't care. I'd stop replying. I've already converted to gas and you're not doing yourself any favors. You are publicly demonstrating the very reason this did not get resolved in the first place. Now I get to smell burnt gas instead of oak this and every winter to come in what is likely to be my last single family structure. You've no idea how disappointing this. I converted to gas and walked away. I suggest you do the same.

Zero stars. CCS installed a Monessen ventless propane fireplace in our brand new house. Turns out they installed a natural gas burner/logs and it kept setting off smoke/CO detector. Came to the house, saw all the black soot on fireplace walls and said the logs need to be rearranged. Ran it once for less than an hour after he left and set off alarms again. I installed this air filter one day before they came to "fix" the problem. Their response was it "happens all the time". Meanwhile we have black soot deposits all over anything plastic, on our baseboards and most likely in our ductwork judging by the pic of the air filter. Won't answer my question about the black soot and the potential harmful effects of breathing this in. Asked for a price to replace with vented and they refused to provide since we have to work through our builder, Riverside, who doesn't care about the issues created by their sub-contractor and also won't provide an answer regarding the black soot and potential health hazards of breathing this in. No apologies from either company.

I had a wonderful experience working with CSS Fireplaces & Outdoor Living. I would like to especially thank Ms. Heather for helping us acquire or fire place. Her superb customer service had the family feel we look for in a business. My wife and I could not be happier. We will surely utilize CSS Fireplaces & Outdoor Living for other projects in the future.

They would never give us a price estimate on the work we wanted done. It has been 4 months since we submitted what we wanted and despite multiple calls and emails to get an estimate, we have given up. Awful service!

I bought a new home with windows installed by construction solutions. over time one of my windows has become fogged which according to the builder Dreamfinders is still covered under warranty. I called back in March and was told they would order me new glass but I would have to find someone to install it because they 'just don't do that' any more. Well now it is almost October and I still do not have the replacement window and if they do ever send it it is my job to find someone else to install it. Good luck getting them to cover their work under 'warranty'. Better hope they don't decide to change their field of interest along the way. It should not take 6 months to get a resolution.

I called about an issue I was having with the natural gas line that they installed less than 2 years ago. I was told it was going to cost me $240 just to get somebody to come out here, so I called somebody else!

Construction Solutions installed a Napoleon fireplace seven years ago when our home was built. For the past three years they have been out eight times for issues with the fireplace that they cannot fix. Inquired about replacing the unit (at my cost) with new fireplace unit in which they replied we cannot take this on at this time. Horrible customer service.

Update-3/5/21 I was able to resolve my issue for the most part dealing directly with the GM Harley. He was professional and courteous and even accepted blame where it warranted. If you run into trouble, just get with him directly and he will remedy the situation as best he can. Some of the employees have zero respect and really don’t care about the job. So Harley is forced to handle things at his level for the inadequacies of the employees. I would trust a purchase again with him at the helm.First look- All around horrible experience from after they received my half down payment to this very day. Disrespectful to my family and sold me a bent and dent fireplace at full retail and refuse to install correctly. Now refuse to install the chase cap. No response from management. Rude and unprofessional. Emails and pictures to prove everything. Yet every excuse to why they won’t make it right. I would urge anyone considering this company to look else where. They are COD company that will not care after the money is handed over.

Horrible experience. All around completely unprofessional. Even the managers. The installers were worse. Even disrespectful to my 84 year old grandfather and 73 year old uncle. They sold me a bent and dented fireplace at full retail. They knew I was in a time crunch especially since I had to reach out to the week after week trying to get an install date. I purposely didn’t frame the area needed to speak directly to the installer to see what was needed. Waste of time since it still wasn’t acceptable. This was weeks after the promised date. Lack of communication, lack of manners and COD type business should have been the red flag I needed to stay away. Once they get your money, you are on your own with every excuse in the book to not make it right. Look else where.

The worst experience dealing with a contractor in over 20 years of the industry. On top of being completely unprofessional in every manner, the installers topped it off being disrespectful to my 84 year old grandfather and 73 year old Uncle. I strongly urge you to look else where. Horrible service. Sold me a bent and dented fireplace at full retail. Gave every single excuse in the book to not remedy the situation.
