Need I say more? I'm so glad I live very close to Costco Wholesale in St. John's Town Center since I usually shop here for the items we need as a family. This staff here has always been very courteous and helpful whenever we need assistance. Since this is one of the few clubs in Jacksonville, this location can get very busy and crowded at times, especially during weekends. To circumvent this, I normally would go here close to their closing time and found it to be a much better shopping experience.

Took my family out to Town Center location in search of goodies for Lunar New Year...Oh boy, so disappointed such a waste of time! They had zero new items stocked, all of its same as the rest! At least last year we found dehydrated fish that was amazing. This year . How can you be worst compared to last year, Costco?? You all sitting upstairs clearing don't know your market!! There's a new International supermarket being built, the people are here and want more than what you've got. The stores are so boring!!! Samesamesame

The lack of signage and over crowded with no worker on sight makes a terrible experience. Not to mention the entitlement of the majority of the customers that run into you with their cart and can't bother to say sorry. Stop in the middle of large paths to socialize with no regard for others. My free trial was a first and last will stick to Sam's with self check out

just wanted to let you know that Taylor at your customer service is fantastic. I tried ordering my wedding bands online and Costco corporate, canceled my order because they needed to verify how I was. I answered all the questions and identity correctly. And they still canceled my order. I went on Sunday and the couple of associates could not help me, So I tried again Tuesday and Taylor called Corporate called Affirm printed out my order showing it was canceled. Unfortunately, it was no resolved. She tried her best for me that's all we could get done it takes Affirm 10 days to adjust the cancellation. We need more people like Taylor in this country that actually, Cares. Taylor you are the best by far. ********** 10 Stars

Customer services this year has been pretty poorly compared feom other years, even from Managers. I still don't understand why people do things that they don't want to do it with poor attitudes to others that doesn't have nothing to do with their own personal conflicts. That's what I seem at this place every time I go shop over there at this facility.

Went there for 3 items , ended up getting 4 . We went to The self checkout to be quick in and out and minimal Interaction with others. Once I'm set check out the cashier was very over bearing needing me to put my kids here and items there . NEWSFLASH ! If I go in self checkout , ask permission if I want my items scanned. Done just snatch up my cart and start scanning away so fast I don't know what's happening . I would have went Into the cashier line for that . It really ruined my experience! Especially when your employee told me my kids were in her space WTH . Move the heck out the way and allow me to scan my 4 items and have my babies and stroller next to me . If there is not space step aside . I'm so heated and COSTCO you guys need to do better and train better because employees like this will push customers away !!!

Love love, love this location! It is clean and well organized and I love the selection of restaurant gift cards at a great price! Also, the hot bar Café offers a Italian beef sandwich, which I've never seen before! Parking is easy so you're in and out in lickety-split

Boyfriend was doing an order for Instacart and was racially profiled bc he had forgot the Instacart card in the car and as he was going back into the store one of the employees had ask to see his Id For Costco and he showed it as he was walking back to checkout even security was called and they said he was good showed him the card and if.....My point is if the problem got solved there why did it escalate? To where your employee had to hold onto my boyfriend receipt hold up the line and get management for what I'm otp with him the whole time we are in this store 7 days a week this is not this first time he left the card in the car either so I'm confused on why this time it was a problem???

-100+ stars if possible, due to service animal discrimination. On a hot day of almost 100 degrees outside the door person (Garrett) has the audacity to tell me to leave my service animal in the car. This place doesn't allow service animals and discriminates towards the services provided by the animal since it doesn't reach their "requirements." Considering the fact that in the state of Florida has a hot beaming weather and I don't go anywhere without my pup I am completely in disbelief the behavior provided by this company. I will never shop here again and I am disgusted on how they treat walking in customers with medical needs. Not to mention she is a licensed service animal.

You might be asking. "Why in the world is someone doing a review about Costco?" Trust me, you'll want to sit through this. I mean Costco is great and all, but there are some things you need to know. Every Costco is a bit different, as expected. However, if you come here after find a TikTok or a Facebook reel of the newest must buys, then you may be misled. When watching tiktoks a lot of the recommendations are from the east coast (California and Washington) if you're waiting for many of those products or deals to come in, youll be waiting for around 2 months if it's something that will spread. (Usually thats shoes/clothing, and sometimes snacks) they dont carry a lot of Asian focused snacks. You have to order them online. I know I'm always looking for the konyakku diet drinks. Also, they dont have the sushi here yet (but i think that one of the spreaders). If youre seeing the Costco recommendations from the Midwest, youll get more of those deals here. It's interesting how were most similar to the midwest than the other coast. In comparison to the Costco in St. Augustine this Costco carries more Asian ethnic foods than Mexican, so shop carefully. There's also no gas station attached to this specific Costco whereas there is one in St. Augustine. BUT I'll say this store has a better seasonal variety! We all know that the rotisserie chicken is a staple at any Costco, and I'll say it is tood, but they tend to undercook it. So, dont forget to pop it in the oven for a little longer, but on the bright side, it's juicy! The hotdogs here don't come with a standard sesame bun, its a plain bun, but they recently started giving out individual small cup if onions, only if you ask. So, remember to ask! But, they may just ignore at rush hour, which happens a lot. It happens. Unfortunately, there's always a downside isn't there? I want to br honest. Desite my love for Costco, this one is a little difficult to shop at. At some Costcos if you're gifted a gift card you can still shop there without a membership. This is not one of those places, but the St. Augustine one allows it. As you can see with the lower reviews here, the service is quite bad too. I've definitely experienced something similar. If you buy something that happens to be expired, this store doesn't honor the Costco code and give you a refund. It was some packaged chicken and it was in my fridge for 2 days, and it had gone bad. Sadly, I couldn't do anything about it. This Costco also is VERY strict with cards. If your mom is sick and you need to get groceries for her, you can't come. I know some other Costco's understand if you come often enough. This isn't one of them. So, plan accordingly. But, I do want to end on a bright note. When my mother's fancy credit card rewards accidentally expired they were kind enough to make sure she could atill get at least half of the credit. So, that was very kind of them.

received the worst customer service from a very hostile older blonde curly hair lady "servicing" "self" checkout worst experience at a costco i've ever had. whole experience made me go to sam's club and i had a wayyy better experience there. she had a very condescending tone, ruined my mood for the rest of the day. i think this store should have a training on customer service at least for the cigarette lady. also they're not getting enough rotation in the store. i'm already bored of the same things they have every time.

Originally had my hearing tested and purchased hearing aids from the hearing center in the Jacksonville Florida Costco store. The hearing aids they fitted me with were the latest Phonak models and have been very effective and comfortable in addressing my hearing needs. Over the years I have lost each of the two hearing aids once, and Costco replaced both of them at no charge. Tyler at the center was very knowledgeable, polite, and effective. I would highly recommend you request him personally to help you with any service requests.Rodger Chenore

Traffic is a little bit hectic. So just avoid parking near the building, people fly through the parking lot, near the front, and don't watch for people. Not to mention parking is a beast because many people use suvs, vans and trucks, so it makes backing out difficult, for us smaller cars who can't see past them. I try to avoid it on the weekends, and try to go as early as possible. I do have to say, they are fast on those self check outs. I love Costco and always go in for a few things and realize stuff is on sale. It's rare I ever leave with less then $50-$100. Wish the coffee would go on sale more again. They used to always have one of the organic coffees on sale every month or two. And now it is also $2 higher, and rarely on sale. They have friendly staff.. and the return policy is great! I try to avoid it as much as possible, but sometimes, they just need to be returned. And they have the best organic half and half, haven't found it anywhere else, so please don't stop carrying it. I also bought a water pik that I am kind of obsessed with. And my vita-mix blender! My next kitchen gadget is a kitchen aid. Some of my essentials are the sun-dried tomatoes, olives, grass fed beef, chicken stock, spices, Italian pasta, cheese , love the variety of cheese! bacon, mct oil, collagen, eggs, frozen fruit and regular produce, avocado cups, nuts, and they always have nice chocolate and snacks that are healthy! And all the drinks!! So many varieties! I wish they offered a bottle of water at the food court, with the combos, instead of soft drink, for those who want to have healthier Options. Though the water bottles are only .25 in the machine, I don't drink the soda. This one also doesn't have gas. But their card is worth it Just for the gas prices in orange park. I wish this one had gas.
