I love this store. It’s always clean and feels safe. Getting help to check out (buy wine, use coupons, etc.) is always fast and easy.

spent 30 mins in line waiting for my prescription just to be told they don’t have anything for me. I reached back out to my doc to have him resubmit script and i sent it to a reliable walgreens. Walgreens went to bill my order only for cvs to beat them to it…….

CVS PHARMACY AT UNIVOk, First of all, I need to admit that up until recently I have spent all my time talking to my insurance and trying to find a different pharmacy. I have been with my insurance and CVS for about 2 years and pretty much hated every second. I have had to go without meds for weeks and I had to call in to remind them to fill it or order it Etc and I didn't think that that was Fair, since their workers get paid to do those very things...not me.. I was just getting stressed constantly.. Grrr 😠 😡
And I should note that it was mostly this CVS because I do not have a car and I can walk there.
UNTIL RECENTLY !!!
I left a doctor's appointment and received a text from CVS that they were working on my script and more surprise, it was in stock! And ready for me to pick up before I even got home!!! WHAT!!!??! WOW...
So, I went inside to find a nice male pharmacist behind the counter and everything seemed so clean and organized back there? There wasn't a giant Pile in front of the pharmacist and phones weren't crazy and not being answered and they were telling me pick up tomorrow when it should have been today etcetera etcetera. It looked professional and very Zen! I found out the new pharmacist was Kevin and he had everything ready and he was on the ball. And for the next couple months I did not have to call them and remind them to order any of my meds or wait on any of my meds and they were just filled when they were supposed to be filled with no word from me! I am praying so hard that he stays at this CVS. 🙏 I could never understand how they were always out of stock Etc I mean don't you look and see what everybody needs for the month and make sure it's all ordered? It's supply and demand 101 and there were no inappropriate comments made loudly so everyone knew what was in my profile or made me feel bad for anything I was taking or any judgments, complete with comments out loud.. yes unfortunately I've had to deal with that and it was so inappropriate and off base. I can honestly say I hated CVS up until recently. So thank you Kevin for doing your job and doing it well and at 110% and with a smile. You've taken things off my plate that should never have been there to begin with, along with a lot of stress, anxiety and Dread. Please do not ever leave and HR for CVS University West, do whatever you can to keep this man please. I cannot stress how horrible it has been for me until recently. So please treat him well pay him well, do whatever you need to do and Pharmacist Kevin...
I thank you so very much... for your kindness and understanding, for being professional and very, very efficient... and for thinking ahead and taking initiative to see what would be needed and making sure it was in stock I can honestly tell you I have been shopping insurance plans I cannot afford as that do not use CVS up until recently , yes , it has been that bad... so again.. thank you Kevin.. I know I am only one customer, but you never know what kind of impact I may have. Hence the main reason for the customer is always right, not always true but it's a guideline, and treats everyone with kindness and a smile. So now it is five stars for CVS University West Pharmacy.
STORE..
As for the store, they have a decent amount of products, for a smaller store, not a lot of the newest and latest stuff and is definitely different from the CVS down the street at St Augustine. I keep my eye on my coupon apps because it is definitely higher priced for whatever reason, than most drugstores. But The CVS care card helps... and make sure to also check out the coupon Center printer as well because you can get more coupons and different deals. I think it's kind of crappy that prices on everything goes up and they dropped the $5 prescription reward down to $2 and the CVS extracare is definitely worth it, but it would be nice to have a promo of a free week or two to try because I use my apps and watch for the best deals

You list the pharmacy hours, but do not abide by them. The time of closing is time of closing not one minute not five minutes not 10 minutes before if you’re open 9 to 5 it’s 9 to 5 if you’re open 10 to 6 it’s 10 to 6 not 657 !!! Picking up my prescription tomorrow morning and switching pharmacies since they can’t seem to their hours

I was told medication would be ready in 30 min so I waited. I come back and am told it won’t be ready for another 1 and 30 minutes. The inexperience of a pharmacy worker who had no idea when medication would be ready.

Went in at 9:50 just to grab something I needed quick I am well aware that the store closes at 10 PM . The guy working with curly hair approached me rude letting me know what time it was instead of greeting me as a regular customer and when I stated what I was looking for he told me they didn’t have it I took it upon myself to look anyway ! He was very rude to me and the other person shopping all because we came in 10 minutes before the store closes !!!

The drive thru and pharmacy closes at 7pm... this is the 3rd time the drive thru is closed well before 7pm due to being short staffed. The pharmacy team does the best they can....I swear I see them zooming around and serving a ton of customers.....CVS Managers or whoever responsible for hiring....pay your people better so they don't leave or hire another person. I stayed at CVS due to my insurance but I can go anywhere else, walgreens, publix, walmart.... Yall obviously have enough business to justify another Staff member and paying your current employees better. There always a line and employees always working. And yes, going inside when a drive thru is supose to be available isn't doable when you have a disabled husband or sick children in the car. Nope, not unloading either. Thank God I still had one more day of meds. Not to mention my work hours, I can't just go any time of day to get meds

The people who work there are rude the sign says they close at 10:00 but they lock the door at 9:40 9:45 and completely ignore you I needed medicine really bad over the counter stuff and they wouldn't even acknowledge me they were young girls with a nasty attitude young girls with a nasty attitude
