Extremely POOR customer service!! The owner allows his daughter to operate his business; she’s rude, doesn’t know how to relate to customers. She refused to give her name, the owner name, take my telephone number for a call back, provide her Dad the owner telephone number or give me an approximate wait time that her Dad was arriving to the store “he’s on his way” when asked for an ETA. She said no to calling for an ETA absolutely refused even after me explaining I have a doctor appointment. Totally unprofessional and unresponsive regarding a defective product resolution. She continues to point to a sheet of paper that states “ no refunds or exchanges”. Not hearing my question- what is your policy for defective products?We will never shop in the Diet Alert again; unable to get a resolution/assistance with a 169.00 item purchased even though the staff is aware of previous complaints and attempts made by other customers to return the item; other customers experiencing the same issues with the product.The store owner should reach out to the manufacture and return the product/inventory back as a defective shipment since all of the items received appear to be defective.Customer service is extremely important; a customer voice should be heard and empathy shown and a satisfactory resolution that puts the customer and the store back to its original financial status. The store doesn’t take a loss because they returned the defective item back to the manufacturer and the customer is restored or given at least a store credit to purchase the item once a new shipment arrives.Known as an even exchange for all parties and no robbery.
